With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?
No, I don't think altcoins have a better chance than bitcoin. In General, you need to understand what you are talking about price and profit or growth and fundamental importance. If the fundamental value, of course altcoins are very superior to bitcoin, even do not need to argue, but as for the growth of profits, now bitcoin is stable at$ 6,000/ I recommend 60% to keep in bitcoin and 40% in altcoins, so you can insure yourself against losses. |

i will still choose BITCOIN now as the strongest coin in crypto world.
Alts will have the bull run if we will see BTC price is flying.
all lats depends to BTC price and its USD value.
but if you will buy now and hold it for a while alts are great to have in fast earning.

Bitcoin is the mother of crypto currencies but if you are after of investment return. Like it is your basis to say that the one who brings more investment return is the better one then there are few altcoins right now that can make a good return of your investment rather than sticking in bitcoin.
Almost all the currencies right now are dropping but it is not the best time to worry instead use this opportunity to buy more and sell them once the market recovers. This will bring you more profit from your investment.

It depends. Bitcoin corridor is around 800 dollars. So to get quick profit buy today sell in a month.
Altcoins are different. A good working platform with low market cap can bring you really good profit in future.
The question is are you able to hold an altcoin more than 6 months or so? And risks with altcoins are higher.
There are some scam projects which you should be aware of. Be careful, do good research, read a lot and good luck with youır investments.

Altcoin is no better than Bitcoin because the value of bitcoin is always superior. The advantage of this Bitcoin, even though it is only stored in your personal wallet, its value will continue to increase. But if for trading, altcoin can be your consideration. Altcoins could be better than bitcoin right now? no.
A lot of altcoins are also dumping after they get to pump by some anonymous people or whales. I don't think that there will be an altcoin that can be a safe haven on this market. Bitcoin is still the best to bet for.

I think altcoin will be no better than bitcoin. The bitcoin market is still functioning normally. Bitcoin price remains at a high level compared with the other coin. Many investors still choose bitcoin as the goal to long-term development.

Altcoins are not exactly better than bitcoin. Because if you will think of it, there is nothing better than bitcoin right now. In all aspects, bitcoin exceeds all other coins, especially those which are new in the market. |

In my opinion it never was because most of the altcoins were just like the copy of the bitcoin's technology so it can't be considered as better than the bitcoin,but we also need altcoins as well for the better future of the crypto currency system.

The market is still slow moving and on the edge of a precipice. However, as awareness and adoption rise, it talks good things for the future of the crypto market. Volatility and security are key concerns for Crypto ownership while lack of education and commercial use pose key challenges to Blockchain adoption. I would say that you should have half of the portfolio in Bitcoin and half in altcoins to be safe

Bitcoin the most reputed coin and it has established the market of crypto currency. Altcoins have come after seeing the success of the bitcoin. Bitcoin is stable and this year it is showing both ups and downs continuously but others are only going down. So bitcoin is the best.

I think bitcoin is still the best in terms of price. Altcoin investments can provide greater profits but not all altcoins are suitable for investment. and remember before investing in an altcoin, do the research first on the altcoin whether there will be profits in the future or not.

I think that the price of altcoins is quite linked to the price of bitcoin, as the alts go up if bitcoin goes up and vice versa, I think this happens because there is a lot of parity between alts and bitcoin, most are changed alts-btc, if the conversion was fiat-alts alts would have much more independence in the price.

Yeah right I found that hard to swallow but it is the truth. You may want to test it.
When bitcoin is down all of the altcoin are surely in the low price too.
Worse thing is when there is a pump on bitcoin they stay the same. So what would you rather pick? It will still be bitcoin at the top.

Still bleeding Alt coins. Since Bitcoin stable on 6-7K alt are not good position accordingly. If you can hold for long time than you can choose alt coins from top 10 of CMC. In my opinion alt coins can give profit more than Bitcoin on current situation. Once Bitcoin will start bull runs at the same time alt coins will recover own place. So there is chance to get good profits. But Bitcoin aslo not bad to hold. We can't underestimate Bitcoin. However we can't expect instant profit from any coin lately. Need patience for that. |
