Sup guys!

Here's a small annoucement from myself;
First HEX Faucet

It's powered by v1.0 faucet script, I did it myself. It's rather basic at the moment, but will do the trick.
Tested but who knows. If you find a bug, do let me know.

It will dispatch you 100-1000 HEX every 6 hours.
Also, for those who wish to contribute, HEX Faucet address is: TbeG948R26Xw6fR3PB5KbtvpSjTc6y8XaW, you can find it online too.
If we bulk up a lot with donations, I'll increase the rewards.

But, mainly use it to spread the word - feel free to share it around.

For the rest, we're expecting something from the devs, hopefully soon.
Enjoy!

This HeisenbergHex.conf worked for me:

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=54.213.143.65
addnode=http://hex.bondni.com/
addnode=http://hex.pitythepool.com
addnode=http://hex.hashfever.com
addnode=hex.internetarena.it
addnode=http://hbg.hashrapid.com/
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=39547

Hope it works for you, or try making a backup of the ...AppData/Roaming/HeisenbergHex files and folders and delete all of them except the wallet.dat file, then install again, it'd download the complete blockchain again. If you have tried all of this, just forget my advice.

Yo, here's a spectacular thing: Why wouldn't we be able to tip people with HEX. It's way cooler than doge anyway Smiley
Can anyone make or does anyone know anybody who can make a Reddit tipster bot?
Thanks.

I am seriously considering the installation of a CMS for the website.
Previously ocPortal was installed. Anyone have a better suggestion than that for the organization of community efforts?
PHProjekt type project management application would be great too.
hit me up, or post it here. thnx

Vote!
https://www.mintpal.com/voting

Check out this site for legit free BTC. It's like an hourly free lottery ticket that always pays out at least 300 satoshi, and could net you over .3 BTC if you're really lucky. Just gotta fill out a captcha each time. (basically a faucet with chance of real reward)

Thanks everybody, for nice words and your efforts, donations too.
I'm merely doing what I can.

WOW: http://explorer2.sancrypto.info/address/TbeG948R26Xw6fR3PB5KbtvpSjTc6y8XaW
Someone actually SENT 1m coins, wow.
OK; I initially put in 400k, and we're up on over 1.5 mil right now.
Soooo, here's the update on how things will roll:

1. I'm bringing up faucet expiry to 8h - so 3x per day only.
2. BUT; It's gonna pay out up to 10.000 each time, to have it more rewarding.

Pull out some yourself, from the faucet, feel free to do so, also - feel free to post it wherever you can, - twitter, facebook, reddit, anywhere, spread the word.
Also, I just voted on MintPal, https://www.mintpal.com/voting -> don't forget to do it occasionally at least, we got up nicely in only 2 days, about 2k votes plus.

Devs, what's next?

You are all welcome to be as involved as you want to.
I asked whats next earlier. IMHO we need coPortal or some other CMS... perhaps a version of phprojekt?

While theCook is back on board, he remains limited in the amount of time which he can dedicate to this project. He still is unable to technically achieve everything that needs to be done. The mac wallet is a great example. Because one member uploaded the mac wallet (which was downloaded over 99 times as of last night), another member was able to mine on the down low at work. Talk about teamwork.

As I have been updating the website, I have taken the liberty to solicit donations for the purpose of replacing the funds that were "lost" at the launch of this project. Still not sure where they went, or who dumped them... but now that is not the point. The point is that we are moving forward. I have posted donation addressed on the website for different funds. Last night I created a separate wallet for payments made directly to me for this project. The donation for the faucet was originally 10mil. I sent the first to make sure it got there. Now that I have had confirmation, I will be forwarding the remaining balance for that transaction. When I think faucet, I think of my sink running upstairs so that the pipes don't freeze. But it would be nice if our faucet behaved more like a fountain.

Anyone working with ethereum? I could so use a smart contract to pay everyone involved in this project, that is, as we receive funds.

I'd really like to be able to raise enough HEX to come close to my promised payment. Until then I am milking that faucet... cause I can't mine, and I don't have much more POT to change into this coin. Yes I believe in the future of this coin. I have sold off my USDe and POT so that I can buy all the HEX I can afford.

Hey, Kroustue; that's a HUGE donation.
OK; I get the idea behind the fountain Smiley

Now that we have like huge amount of funds there, question is; how to set the payments.
You know, it's not impenetrable, so one can do harm with playing around faucets a lot (like, cheating to get more) so I need some kind of good ideas how to secure it further.
It's well off right now, but without evercookie (http://samy.pl/evercookie/) which is a BITCH to implement, I hesitate from giving away much funds per single transaction.
But OK; that's one thing. I'll find solutions as I go.

As for the things around here:

CMS for website? Well, why not simply Wordpress? It's running fab, I won't go much into backing it up with words, it doesn't need that. It's all around solution with enough simplicity to keep things going.
Tho, depending on what the website will have of features, CMS is chosen by that criteria. At least we in IM do it like that.
WP has awesome things, but then when it's about translations, it's not strongest ever.

Hosting? If that is needed, I can sponsor a reasonable hosting account on my dedi for website's needs.

Thread? Well, that's just a mess. Excuse me for using caps, but CAN SOMEONE FUCKING EDIT THE STUPID TITLE OF THE THREAD already? Smiley
And perhaps do some OP info cleaning? I mean, it's official thread and it's looking amateurish right not. This is the number 1 place people go to when getting into coin, not the website, for now.
So, some care about that would prove to be good.

Explain what happened, put up the relevant data (public fund addresses, all that is needed in that regard).

Aside that, everything is shiny.
Oh, yeah - plus - cryptorush.in? It's nice, but we ought to find some other exchanges as those guys can't seem to buy a good server for their wallets.
Day hasn't passed by without them having some issues so far, in their history.
So yeah, keep up the Mintpal voting, and if anyone has some ideas about other echanges, it would be good. I'll try to talk to xnigma guy, myself.

Cheers people Smiley
