The coin is being updated (specs, web, marketing), so there is not much going on now. Wait for the updates.
It is also the best moment to start mining because number of coins will be decreasing rapidly and also 1-2 billion coins were lost due to recent Cryptorush exchange problems. Currently we are looking for a new exchange.
Are you sure the coins are lost? Heisenair said he transfered his 700million out yesterday.? Not all of them. Some people reported that they managed to log in and transfer theirs. Hmmmm...yeah it would be nice to know how many hex got killed off. |

I have set up the reddit hextipbot running on an EC2 instance that is gonna cost me about $20 a month

As long as we can access the coins after it is taken off CryptoRush, then that's probably the best move.
We really need to shrink the supply, 2.2 Billion is way too much.
MaxCoin is considering cutting the rewards to drop their supply from 250M to 100M.
Something like that would be a huge help.
Too much supply, no demand = no value.

With CryptoMeth being released this evening, the fact it is using Keccak SHA-3 and KGW and that it seems to be quite an organised launch (as far as you can ever tell), I suspect that the ship has sailed on any hope of resurrecting HEX. Probably one of the main reasons also is that the devs aren't too communicative on any plan that may, or may not, be happening. I'm still holding a lot of HEX so it is a disappointing prospect. |
