Correct me if I'm wrong but if everyone went back to V1 wallet, including pools, exchanges, then all this would clear up. right?

Yes, but there would be a lot of lost coins from this BS. Basically we have to pick a fork and stick to it.

Usually coins have a dev team that gives a f*cking rat's ass and helps with this sort of thing, instead of creating the chaos. Just sayin'!!!!

Your wasting your breath bro, if this is gonna get sorted they arent gonna help.

I guess there are no devs.
Original devs disappeared on day 1.
CallSaul not responding.
Krostue wrote a PM to Heisenair in which he stated that he is not interested in the coin.
Heisenair decided not to become new leader.
I already moved to other coins but am always willing to help with this one if/when someone decides to take the lead.
The Cryptorush pump idea was dropped since there was noone to take care of it.
So I guess the coin is left all by itself.

Just to clarify, I was interested in leading the team. It was Krostue/Heisenberg Hex (same person) who stated that I would never be allowed to. Only the illusion and I would have to answer to him. Unfortunately we had a disagreement and were unable to resolve.

I hope everything works out. I still have a vested interest in HEX.

let's support "HEISENAIR" that he would have continued the development of the coin, the coin is not yet dead, need more advertising and need to distribute all the coins to have more people interested in this coin!

I definitely agree.
I am trying not to take sides but it seems that Heisenair is willing to do much more for the coin than Krostue is. I appreciate all what Krostue did until this day but he seems to be not as active here as Heisenair and seems to avoid team work. So once again I vote for Heisenair to lead this project. We can start a new topic and set a new domain for the project if original devs are not willing to give the credentials.

Maybe the Cryptorush pump can be saved. I am willing to pass all the info and contacts to the people whou would like to follow this topic.

Yes, I agree that Krostue has done a lot for this coin. There are many others that have worked bloody hard too. So much potential Sad

The coins on Bleutrade are frozen. Is this due to the Wallet/Network issues. I assume it's all HEX coins, or is it just mine? I'm also getting the Warning on my wallet like others stating needs to be updated. I'm using a MAC.

No doubt they're on wrong fork.

Contrary at what i read on hex website :

Quote
InternetArena.it    This pool was still going strong, until they decided that they rather close than upgrade the wallet? Sorry for all of you how have HEX left here Sad

We were the first pool upgrading, we were on a different fork and sacrificed the pool not to hurt the coin, a fork war was last thing coin needed.
We warned the others pool owners in this thread (just 2 pages ago) not to update,at least until nodes are updated or Dev clarify situation.

And about "HEX left here": we have been on wrong fork for 8 hours or so:

1)everybody got paid for the work on old fork since confirmations are fast... no one can doubt about it.

2)we even paid shares for the new fork but little problem: receivers with wallet v1 can't receive them (no one can doubt it either, it was a fork or we wouldn't discuss about this problem) and remember you can't mix coins of different forks.

3)we're sorry if our miners wasted some hours mining on a fork but we simply updated wallet as suggested by Dev on main thread.

4)the very few people who forgot to set autopayment addresses can contact us and we manually process.

5)Any doubt? Feel free to contact us :-)

P.S. Dev, please, edit Hex website..

This is 100% accurate, and thank you Pacman for helping identify the problem and taking action when it happened.

If no one will step up and be a team leader might i suggest we just vote on what to do.

someone here must know someone who is competent in programming that could lend a hand.

everyone here has something to bring to the table. me i can promote provide basic/intermediate tech support(i can code but i do not know C++ )

if we all work together this coin can survive

question is will you contribute?

propose to create a team willing to help, who's to say what you need to help those who come across - all arranged. and where to start ? if the master coin refused to support her - very sad!

v1 has to be the current wallet everyone uses.

To my knowledge there is no GitHub source for the v2 wallet.  I just downloaded and compiled from here (https://github.com/HeisenbergCoin/HeisenbergHex) and it is the v1 wallet.

Without compilable source, most pools and exchanges will not be able to upgrade to v2.  There are some exceptions, but most cannot because they don't have a Windows box available to run the wallet on.  Besides that, Windows wallets don't work well with pools; the UI starts getting all glitchy when your Transactions tab gets too large (reaching 50,000 transactions takes no time at all on a busy pool or exchange)

Just my BTC0.02

How did this coin fork and have pools like hashfever paying out to v2 fork then? I mean if they are using linux and no v2 wallet for linux? Strange.

Cause my v2 wallet was receiving coins from pools when my v1 wallet does not.

perhaps v2 wallet not only problem.
