Indeed, gambling,betting,poker and all other gambling related things are about winning but also loosing. If you can't accept taking losses in sportbetting than you should consider to quit betting. Even if the odds are with you teams still are human and sometimes results can go the other way entirely.
I lost a bet on darts 2 days ago. Wade who was in a winning streak lost his game to an opponent he will win against the next 10 times. But they can also have an offday like any other human being.

That is the bad thing about gambling. Even if you have a plan laid out for every time you gamble, most of the time it is not being followed since we are always being controlled by our greed, our greed to win a lot of money. You can make a living from gambling. But the main concern is not to get affected by greed. I am doing sportbetting for over 10 years now and I could support my family with my bet earnings.
Huge mistake lot of gamblers make is to chase the big money by placing high bets or with high odd accumulators. But why doing that. I am making a consistent average of 50-100€ profits daily. But instead of chasing high odds or accumulators I just bet a massive amount of bets with odds between 1.10 and 1.5.

Lot of people telling that betting on 1.1 odds for example isn't worth the effort. But see this calculation.

Belgian banks give 0.1% intrest YEARLY 0.25% loyalty bonus on a saving account. Lets say you have 1000€ on the bank. 0.1% means 1€ and the 0.25% means 2.5€ loyaltybonus. So on a Belgian saving account your 1000€ will bring you 3.5€ on a yearly basis.


1000€ betting balance. I mostly use 10% max of my betting balance on a single bet. Lets say I put 10€ (1%) on a 1.1 odd bet. If I win which happens in most cases with such a low odd I will make 11€ or 1€ profits. So in 1 day with only 1 bet I make the same profit as I would make by putting my money in a saving account.


Lets say you can do this 20-30-40-50 times a day. You still will have downswings but overall you will end up with more winning bets than loosing bets. Using this strategy and by using some valuebetting software I manage to make an overall average profit of 15-25% on a monthly basis.
So in my opinion there is a way of making a living from sport betting but only when you can exclude the 'greed' factor

Yeah I agree with this. Those casino owners only are the ones who are becoming rich and the gamblers are becoming poorer. I didn't hear any story of a person who became rich with the help of gambling. Don't make gambling as a primary or even secondary source of income. I just had a really bad day gambling today with Roma losing a ticket for me and their odd was 1.20 and they were playing against the last place of Italian Serie A. I thought a bad day and move on and played another ticket this time I choose Brondby as they were playing at home against a team they had beaten almost always and the odd was 1.35. This was even worse as Brondby lost 2-4 at home to a team quoted from the bookies at 8.5
