There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

90 percent of the altcoins will not die but 90 percent of all abandoned altcoins will die because the team beside it has abandoned not really because they want it to but because they did not give it the priority required, most times they feel the mvp is better and that alone kills the  projects as investors tend to look away.

Of the 10 bounty shoots an average,5-6 is an outright Scam, and 2-3 obscure cents,I am ready to agree with the author's theme. About half of those bounty campaigns that still something paid me in 2017-early 2018(this is of those 2-3) is almost not alive, removed from the exchanges, another 20-30 percent is also practically not traded. Again all from my experience.I naturally know that there are a lot of serious successful ICO ,without bounty and advertising on BTT, but judging by the criminal news there is also not all right.

I'm an optimist and I always thought the news that bitcoin bubble or that 90% of cryptocurrencies will die funny. Everyone has long understood that cryptocurrency is a serious market, which has changed greatly in recent years. Of course, some of the coins will disappear if they are of no use, but most of the projects work, and their coins are in demand. Moreover, many projects have the same focus, it creates competition and accelerates progress.

If Bitcoin is a bubble, then in fact all other cryptocurrencies are also a bubble, and then I have a question, why did you decide to start investing in cryptocurrencies if you initially think that this is a bubble? I understand that so far you can earn money with the help of cryptocurrency, but still the bubble can burst at any time, and you decided to invest in it.

Bitcoin is not balloon. People who have negative thoughts about bitcoin are mistaken. goddess of bitcoin crypto money system. Through bitcoin, people realized that there was a revolutionary technology. most of the existing altcoins will be destroyed. why? because projects that do not have a real product die.

It depends on the situation of the coin that you hold. If you hold most of the coin that has a very blur perspective in the future. Well it may become a bubble to burst. But if the coin you hold is strong. It can never go thru that way.

I feel that it is difficult to quantify exactly how many percent of the coins could survive in the crypto market. Because they depend on Bitcoin and the market situation as well as the strategy and direction of each of them.So i think about 80% may die. And you should choose the Altcoins in the top 20 is safe.

I think 90 percent of the coins dying is too much. But a lot of coins will eventually die off when things begins to take full shape.

After see this bloodbath i think it can be true, especially if that coins has no the real working product to offer and i believe that coin will gone in this bloodbath. But don't worry about big coins, it will survive and keep growing in the future.

as we see the price of Bitcoin which caused altcoin to fall and various major ICO projects die. Riplle coins are quite developed this month although on the other hand the market continues to be red and conversely the Ripple coins are relatively stable, in my opinion if you are confused it's better to buy Riplle that can rival Ethereum.

The crypto space is filled with many postulations and  rumours. No analysis can tell for sure how many percent of coins will survive in the long run. Saying 90 percent of coins will die is absurd, let's see what the future holds before predicting like voodoo priests. I think some coins will fade out in the long run but those with real products and use cases will stand the test of time if the team keeps giving required updates. If you want to decide on which coin you should hold, personal research is the key, seeking public opinion is a no no.

I'm still a supporter of the fact that all projects have the opportunity to live. Therefore, I think that it would be best to say that it is better to try to look at projects that still have a chance to develop.

Yes, Buterin talked about this. He's right. In any sector there are many competing companies. Many of them will not survive. Some teams will create their product, but will not be able to conduct a good marketing.

I think it's probable that more than 70% of coins will die in next 2 years but the ones who will remain will be stronger than now. My advice is to create a well balanced portfolio with a high allocation % in top 10 coins in order to decrease standard deviation.

They already died lol. If you look at the projects of 2017, then they just died. This is very sad, the market was captured by bombs and we missed it. Our mistake? Our. We just need to understand and take this into account, use it in the future.

I think you need to choose projects which have uniwue product and powerful team of developers. Also the product must be original and useful for usual people wich are not connected to crypto.

definitely yes. as what we can see today, most icos are scamming investors and they cant take the losses that the market is having today. i do believe that altcoins become bubble because the total market capitalization is falling.

The Bitcoin bubble burst won't kill 90% of the coins, rest assured. Financial instabilities are part of the market, investors should firmly hold onto their portfolios. Invest in long term projects for now.
