I have been mining the Zig Z1 for a couple of weeks now -- have tried a number of sites -- individual coins and multi-coin sites -- best I have come across so far a Prohash and Zpool.  I found suprnova had issues with the hashrate falling off precipitously, experienced a less severe gradual decline at blockmaster as well.  Zpool seems to be consistent however have to reboot machine every two to three days or so to keep hashrate up.  Running at 850mhs -- average hashrate 6-6.2.

Try what was noted earlier in the forum...  Change the foillowing in an exported JSON:
 From: "auto_frequent":"0","frequency":"850"

to

"auto_frequent":"1","frequency":"1000"

It worked wonders for me.

Explain more pls

I mean, read through the forum maybe?

Export the miner.JSON for your miner, which there is a button for.  Make a copy of the file so you have the original.  Edit the miner.json file with notepad in windows.  The first or second command in the line is: "auto_frequent":"0","frequency":"850" (assuming you set it to 850).  Change that to:"auto_frequent":"1","frequency":"1000"   Save the file then import that file to the miner (which there is a button for) and restart.

It made mine much more stable.

Try prohashing.com, I am averaging over 6.8 mh/s with very few stale shares, unlike nicehash.

also i checked this site on profibility live shows for equihash algo can be earn 3.2$for 10k\sol per day according by your say if you cab get15 k\sol profit is 4.8$ per day right?

That sounds about right. But that number is an average for the day, and changes as the profitability for coins goes up or down.

That $36 was in 10 hours...

As noted in my post that was since midnight until about 10 am... but also included my Z9 minis.
it means your miners included z1 and z9 s have about 86$ per day its very good if your avarage be stable on month duration thanks a lot mattaero

Yes.  I was pleasantly surprised when I changed the miner.json and switched to prohashing from nicehash.

As noted above it is the "auto-frequent" command and frequency to 1000 in the .json

Nicehash just gets a lot of stale shares that I don't get on prohashing.

What?

No.  This is a Z1 forum.  the Z9 requires you to flash the firmware to the Batch 1 version.  You'll have to go to the Z9 mini forum to find the file and instructions, I don't have them easily accessible.

Also, I wanted to confirm what was mentioned earlier in the forum.  Setting the frequency to 1000 and the "auto-frequent" to "1" in the JSON file has greatly improved my stability and hash rate.  I have no idea why that would be the case, but it is working much better now.  Been running about 18 hours with no hiccups at 6.85 gh/s.

So it may not work for everyone, but I have seen a noticeable improvement.

Mind telling me where you go it from and price? Local retailers is charging a stupid premium (around 6200 usd) making it a no go choice for something not even in stock.

I got my Zig Z1 from here: https://leiqing.en.alibaba.com/?spm=a2700.8443308.0.0.36803e5fGjkX2d

It was pretty fast shipping (4 days), pretty fast response times and they will work with you on customs forms.  Also they are VERY good at trying to help with issues... (they aren't the manufacturer, but they will try to help)

Thanks.

Already received a reply from them but it seems BTC payment isn't an option.

Anyone have used one of the seller on https://www.asicminervalue.com/opportunities?
Review for asicminermarket.com seems off and I'd have hard time sending so much btc without legit long-time feedback.

Ah, yes.  If you want the trade assurance (which I did) you have to pay with a card or checking account.  They are working on BTC payments from what I was told, but it isn't available yet (and wouldn't allow trade assurance).  I just don't trust pretty much any ASIC seller unless it is direct from the manufacturer, or I can get trade assurance.

The price is really good though... $4200 or so for a Zig Z1+ (No PSU)

Currently I have the 14.09 and it is working fine, but I think the person that first made the changes was using the 26.09 firmware and it worked the same way.  I don't know about the 30.09.

I have an APW3++ for 3 hash boards (1200W) and a computer PSU for the control unit and 1 hash board (800w).  I just have to make sure I always turn on the computer PSU before the hash board PSU's.  Either 1400 or 1600w would be fine I am sure.

Model Zig Z1 from Dayun mining Lyra2REv2 algorithm

AND

Algorithm-Specific Ports
While the "a=" password argument is traditionally used to select the algorithm for a miner, an algorithm-specific port can also be used. Algorithm-specific ports cause miners which connect to those ports to be automatically assigned the algorithm associated with the port upon connection. The "a=" password argument can still be used to override the port's algorithm. The port assignments are the following:

Algorithm   Port
Scrypt   3333
X11   3334
SHA-256   3335
Equihash   3336
Lyra2REv2   3337
Neoscrypt   3338
Ethash   3339
