Still have the problem with the OUT FAN at 0 RPM

Then there is also the issue with the one hashboard who is dark (leds are off).
And it's hashboard 2 - Unit2

But the best part is, that Unit2 is the only hashboard that "tries" to do some mining...
I know that it's that board, cuz it goes offline (status NA) when i disconnect it from the miner.

Here a pic for you...

After monitoring it you are right ! It doesnt change, core temp does go lower or up but the hashb not... good 2 know !! The only thing i want to know now is what are acceptable temperatures for those things... maybe @zigminer can answer this?
Alex what is your avarage ghz in 24u on the pool itself? Z1 or z1?

Grtz

iam running 1105 which you are as well so the temps shown are correct. on version 926 they are wrong 930 was the same as well.

Wich firmware version do you run on them? So if your statement is correct my temperatures should never change because they only measure once at reset and then stay there until they are reset again!? Ill keep that in my mind and double check

They are in my double garage with no plaster just roof tiles so might be cooler. outside temp from app is 15 degrees c. one miner is 40,41,38,39 the other is 39,39,38,38. running 900mh/z and non auto on prohashing.

What temp do your hashbords have?

the old version only showed the temps straight after a reset the newer versions this was fixed and shows up to date temps. im in Australia first 30 degree day had me worried as well. temps are fine though.

So the old version temperatures are not correct? And 60 degrees is legit and good?? Ill look back into the 39 pages but i didnt noticed this post....

If you look back through this post you will see previous versions didn't update the temps shown. So it was reaching 58 but wasn't showing it.

@zigminer Does someone has an explanation for hashboard temperatures that are 20 degrees higher with 1105 firmware? I dont understand... when i put in firmware 2609 my hashboards get 35 degrees, when i put in firmware 1105 my hashboards get 58 degrees... all in 5 min mining... so this is impossible ! When its 58 degrees and i shut it down put in the old software again its 35 again... all in a minute difference. What is bothering me is what is correct and can we believe that information? Does anyone has the same going on? I just put in my old usb with old software just because of the idea that its 35 degreed and not 58 but what can i believe? What a voodoo thing

65 degrees Celsius is usually a relatively high temperature, there may be a higher hw error, I may release a firmware version of the adjustable fan speed, but I do not recommend that the user adjust to the lowest position, high temperature will quickly damage the power board. Regarding fan detection, the next version will be added to fan speed check

The board will not POST then. This is standard behavior of PinIdea board failure.

Can you please post pictures of the hashboard?
I knew that somewhere I saw

I am getting 0HW errors at 63-66°C. The temperatures came with the new firmware. The unit (Z1+) is at 925MHz by default. Would you recommend tuning it down?

Biggest problem for me is the high rejection rate.

Hi

So 65 is the absolute max, ill keep my eye on the temps when i put in the new firmware... i was using old software so i actually dont have an idea what the temps are because i didnt mine longer then 5 min when i saw 58 degrees i turned it off and put the old usb in... so this thing might mines at 60+ degrees for a month without my knowledge...
I hope this wont take long to make that updatz firmware? Like you read some ppl dont want to lower the fanspeed but they want to put OFF the fanspeed check so the miner can mine again... there fans go full speed but the miner goes in endless reboot because the miner "thinks" the fans are not working....

This sounds stupid and i already know the answer but still i have to ask, isent there a way to add more minable coins or something else to raise our profits again? 22 oktober a coin left and the difficulty of the other coins where double in 1 night our profits where only the half anymore... very frustrating for people that bought this from the first batch at full price ! We want to see our money back on this purchase... things are looking bad once vtc leaves the lyra2rev2 also and becomes verthash... maybe there is a way if you start working on it right now.

And spare parts? Like hashboards or controler units? I have a friend with a miner that 1 hashboard doesnt work anymore... so its hashing at 3 /4 ghz... oke ha has a little income its maybe better then those ppls who sit on a not hashing miner unit because it thinks the fan out has 0 rpm but these are 2 big issues that really have to be solved fast ....

Grtz

What size USB drives are required to hold new firmware? It looks like the firmware files are only 400-500MB, but usually they expect more space when you write them and they boot into a filesystem?

Replying to myself: my Z1+ came with a 8GB stick, and I've successfully flashed 2 different 16GB sticks with 1030 and 1105 firmware. 32GB and 128GB sticks both passed the flashing, but neither booted. (32GB would boot far enough to ping, but with no web UI... 128GB only showed red-light-no-boot)

Not necessarily. From what I have Sandisk Ultra USB 3.0 32GB and Sandisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 16GB, it works well.

in prohash it ranges from 5.7-6.3 seems to be the majority but have seen upto 10gh/z report in the pool. i have a z1

I've haven't had great uptime because of reboots to try different firmware... but has anyone run a Z1+ for 3 days or longer? Somewhere between 2-3 days mine seems to just stop mining: my 1105 install just fell over again.

You have a date for this?
My miner stoped working 10 days ago bcuz of this problem.

Be careful who you deal with through Alibaba...I was offered a new Z1+, PSU with shipping to South Africa for $1000. This business is from Turkey. When I went through their advertising pages in Alibaba it showed a granite business. I played along and asked the guy to send me a purchase invoice(PI). When I received it I checked the address on on google maps and it took me to a cellphone shop in Istanbul. As that old saying goes, ‘If something is too good to be true, it probably is’

Deal with suppliers someone on this chat group has dealt with else don’t take a chance cos you are good as gambling, with all the odds stacked against you

Did you switched the 2 fans and checked if the fan in shows 0 rpm then? I see zigminer says its the fan that is the problem? I think its the controler unit but you could easily check it on this way

Regarding fan detection, the next version will be added to fan speed check
