I am trying to open mining pool service, may I have your contact information then I can offering very nice commision fee to all of your guys?

Hello everyone,

Spamming is not my thing, so i'll try to keep it short

@Nlpool.nl  we are running a profitswitching pool also running the Lyra2V2 algo and the most profitable Lyra2V2 coins in it, meaning you can set a BTC or LTC wallet , but also any other coin wallet as long as the coin is present in our pool.

As the pool can use some extra hashrate to make it even more efficiënt i am looking for people with the Z1 miners.

If you can help me out and if you are looking for some extra profit : > i can give you a 5% extra weekly bonus if you are a big miner for 4 weeks. If you are interested please contact me @ Discord or Telegram.

>>

NLPOOL.NL | Highly profitable Lyra2V2 Mining Pool

Start Mining:

Code:
-o stratum+tcp://mine.nlpool.nl:4533 -u <Your BTC WALLET_ADDRESS> -p c=x
Our features:

- Approximately 20 - 30% extra profits with custom finetuned profit switching system in the pool
- Payouts possible in any currency present in our pool (LTC / BTC / RACE / VTC etc.)
- High profits for miners by lowering latency and stale shares
- Blocks are distributed proportionally among valid submitted shares.
- High security / DDOS protection with 99% uptime, multiple nodes, loadbalancers and status system
- Professional pool - No un-announced downtime. We care for your profits.
- Hourly payments
- 0.25% fee

¡ tried  three pools including this one.

nlpool gives 0.0003 btc for 10 hours
blockmasters gives 0.0005 btc for 10 hours
nicehash gives 0.0009 btc for 10 hours

champion is nicehash. it gives 2x and 3x  more in same time period. do not waste your time and device.

Bro, do you have nicehash stocks??? i have been in contact with many miners since yesterday, and thrust me, there is no such thing as a pool paying 3 times as much as another pool. Margins are more likely to be a few percent at maximum.

First , the difficulty is going up enormously since these Z1 devices are oversold, causing more instability in rewards. This is not only on my pool , but on all pools since it takes longer time to find blocks. The difficulty for Monacoin has gone up a factor 10 since mid october to give you an example, where price has stayed more or less the same. Please feel free to check the data and put the graph on 3 months:

https://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/monacoin-difficulty-chart

If you are an expierenced miner you should know that if you want to say something reasonable that you have to test like 72 hours or so to get some decent data.

I just try to help people to get a part of their investment back .... as ROI seems impossible with profits of +/- 15 to 20 USD per day ex. power costs.

For the Zig Z1+ - I installed 20181116 and am only hashing around 6.0-6.2 Gh/s between 800-925Mhz...not consistent rates across different pools...have done the soft resets, pulled the power and waited, etc.

Of the four firmware releases - 20181015, 20181029, 20181105, 20181116 - is there one in particular that seems to be the "best" from a high hashrate and consistency standpoint?  I'm considering flashing back down to an earlier version, but would love to save the time if anyone has thoughts here.

Personally i have gone back to version 930 so i can overclock my miners and monitor the temps. Luckily i haven't had the fan issue so i dont need to run the most recent version. My miners are Z1 though.

930 has 2 versions for Zig Z1, overclock and stable . Which one do you use for 1000Mhz ? I tried both one but my hashboards go to yellow and then red lots of hw errors. So i upgraded to last firmware. I dont know why i cant run 3009

Wich version of 0930 did you use to put on 1000mhz? Stable that you edit or the OC?

New Firmware 20181116 - Overclocking bye bye

I made a lot of tests about OC
You can check it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5038441.msg46842719#msg46842719

Before my miner stopped working (Fan Check Problem - now solved with version 20181116), i was running Firmware 20180930.
Firmware 20189030 was the first version with a working overclocking.

----------------------------------------------
All Firmware before 20180930
@900MHz: ~6GH/s using ~1200W
@1000Mhz: ~6GH/s using ~1200W
You can set the MHz at 1000, it shows 100Mhz on the Mainpage of the miner BUT it does not work.

----------------------------------------------
Firmware 20180930
@900MHz: ~6,5GH/s using ~1200W
@1000Mhz: ~7,1GH/s using ~1400W (Chips ~3-4°C hotter)

Working OC, needing more power and getting a bit hotter...perfect.

----------------------------------------------
Firmware 20181116
@900MHz: ~6GH/s using less then 1200W
@1000Mhz: ~6GH/s using less then 1200W
You can set the MHz at 1000, it shows 100Mhz on the Mainpage of the miner BUT it does not work.

----------------------------------------------

So we are back to square one with the performance of the miner...

Don't get me wrong @Zigminer
I'm happy that you solved my problem with the Fan Check option.
But...yeah, the performance is gone cuz we can't overclock the miner with this firmware.

Edit:
And i have again the problem that at some point the hashrate goes down and i need to restart the miner so many times b4 it's back to normal.

HELLO ZIGMINER

A few weeks ago I sent you a letter about the low value of the z1 machine
You replied: We have stopped selling the device and your profit will increase
https://pli.io/2vrd3C.jpg
But today, by checking the amount of hashrate, I realized that you are not honest with us
Hashrate has nearly doubled over the past month, and our profit has fallen by about 5 times
( And your company No Answering My New Mail )

My total income has been around $ 600
provided the cost of purchasing this machine (including customs, sending to Iran) about 6000$ - that is, I got about 10% of the cost of this device over the past month, and also the profit of the device is sharply declining and I think that by the end of this year, this machine will become waste.

that's mean you are no stoping sell , Please also think of our losses

if hashrate more , We will never get the original investment ( not profit ) & And you will be the biggest company in the field of harming your customers

Hello everybody,
I'm brand new over here and I'm managing a few ASIC miners among which there's also a ZigMiner Z1+ that I've updated a week ago to the 20181105 firmware release keeping the factory default settings (i.e. no overclocking for me). The machine is pretty stable (it works in the range [5, 8] Gh/s with some peaks around ???17 Gh/s???). This week I'll proceed with the update to the latest firmware (20181116) cause I've read in your previous posts that it should allow me to control the fan speed. Am I right? The ZigMiner is noisy as hell...
Considering that the 4 ASIC boards temperatures are all around 50 C, do you think that it would be too risky to reduce the fan speed at 75% at least?

Then, I've read that many of you complained about difficulties they've encountered with the network configuration and the SSH daemon. Personally I've performed the following steps from a Linux terminal:

  • I've flashed the .img file through the dd command to the USB pendrive
  • I've mounted the unencrypted partition containing root folder and /etc in particular
  • I've created the symbolic link:  /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/ssh.service -> /lib/systemd/system/ssh.service
  • I've changed the /etc/network/interfaces to the following in order to force DHCP (I assign the IP through static leases on our router but you can simply change the IP you'll find in this file according to your needs):

Code:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
pre-up /root/getmac.sh
hwaddress `cat /root/macaddr`
    [/li]

  • I've plugged the USB in the ZigMiner and I've fired it up in order for it to mount the partition containing the web interface files (the /zigminer folder) as unencrypted.
  • I've copied the /zigminer/html/resources/miner.sqlite file through scp (or FileZilla if you wish) using the assigned IP and the root/envision login.
  • I've edited the miner.sqlite with sqlitebrowser (or sqlite3 command as an alternative), changing the internal "settings" table in order to set the "system_protocol" to DHCP, the "system_hostname" to "ZigMiner_1" and the "system_timezone" to "Europe/Rome".
  • I've copied the miner.sqlite file back to the ZigMiner and I've rebooted it.
  • Rebooted the ZigMiner

The last steps were necessary cause the ZigMiner web interface didn't store the settings I mentioned from its configuration page (I guess there are some errors within its PHP code).

Through these changes I've been able to fire up the ZigMiner with the proper network settings and the SSH deamon enabled, through which I've installed the packages I commonly use to monitor a remote machine (tmux, htop, nload and so on). I've also removed the phpbash script found in the /zigminer folder for security reasons.

I hope I've not been pedantic, repeating things you already knew.
