That would only happen if the increase on the crypto's market value would be continuously and consistently high. This also means that this instance is impossible because volatility is in nature of cryptos. Also it would depend to the rate of increase on the market value of crypto. Not all crypto are having high rate of increase and also, consistency with the increase. Some are only having 10% increase for a month.

If you want to make 100k from 40$(x2500) than tron, eos, ontology aren't the best choice, these projects already have a big market capitalization(they already made many x) and their potential for growing is limited, you should find some small projects which in your opinion have a potential to become strong projects.

Yes, I completely agree with you. Their market capitalization are too big to increase 2500 times. I think these projects can increase maximum 20 - 30 times and then they will become stable.

Ten years is too long for you to wait because how if you can turn your $20 to $100k in less than ten years? I guess every people wants this. Perhaps, you should hold bitcoin only because you know that it will increase higher in less than ten years. But if you're going to stay with the altcoin, then you need to choose the other coins, and you have the best time to buy right now. I think that there will be many others coin that you can choose because, in cryptocurrency, every coin can get an increase in anytime, so I don't think that you want to hold one or two coins only because if you have many coins with various amount, you have a big chance to make more than $100k.

Don't be sure those projects could be gone in just two or three years they are not Bitcoin and ethereum where they are very stable coins in the market, I don't trust aidrops either they are made to be pump and dump coin, tell me a good airdrop that is still around today and commands a good price.

In 2010, the high for BTC was USD 0.39. If the price in 2018 is 6400, then it has gone up by about 16,000x. To reach $100k from $6.4k is "only" about 15x, but of course whether BTC continues on such a trajectory is up for debate.

On your other point about nobody being able to buy BTC, they do not have to buy 1 whole BTC. Even at $100k, 1 satoshi is still only $0.001!

Everything is very simple . You take and look at the market cap coins and if it is big and the coins are not in the top 100 by capitalization, then the prospects for its growth are great in theory, but if it is already in the top 100, then it is strongly limited by the total market capitalization.
