I think it will depend on what was the situation of the market when you bought your coins. If you bought coins when the market is on the peak like on dec 2017 - Jan 2018, then you must be facing losses too much. You will need to sell and buy other good coins with this low price, and sell them when the price increases.

10% is too high for this situations unless there is a coins that increase until that percentage. But if you only search 2% for one-time trade and you can do it for more than five times in a day for the same coin then I think you will get that 10% of the profit. But if you don't want to do day trading, then the only strategy you can do is hold your coin until the price is back to the high price.

I adhere to the strategy: bought on the fall, sold on growth. In doing so, I choose coins from the TOP20. This strategy does not allow you to earn XxX, but only 20-30% per month, but at this stage it is enough for me.
