It's an old thread, but as of now I'd probably say XRP looks the best. Very undervalued compared with historic levels. So is ETH, but XRP - which remember a few times has risen above ETH in cap - is currently just over half ETH cap.
Obviously risk attached, but XRP does look a good choice.

its a pure luck with altcoins , i was nice early with alts, but due my greediness , i lost a lot ...
first the ico scam and after that the MN scam... now i am hoping for the return of the alts....

The only coin that can multiply in price by the end of this year is bitcoin. I do not think price of other coins will surge significantly as compared to bitcoin. Only a few of altcoins like Binance Coin, Houbi, Bittorrent are some altcoins that have high potentiality to grow over time.
