Many other projects are using ethereum and are based on ethereum so this makes eth one of the strongest coin in the world. It deserves the title of ICO king.

Actually we can say it "was" king of the ico, from 1 year ico market is almost stopped and there is no good project more, most of the eth tokens are just shit so ethereum is losing power in the market at these days.

First mover advantage will be hard to overcome for other newcomers.
NEO and Stratis had built some momentum but eventually it went nowhere.
Ether classic failed even more.
EOS is eating up some Dapp share from ETH, but when it comes to ICO-s ETH is king.

Ethereum is the best platform for ICO. only a few ICO tokens from other platforms. I like ICO from ethereum, many successful tokens at ICO to use the platform if the team is serious. I don't think it's surprising if people think that way, because most investments in ICO use ETH. well, this explains why ETH is so easy to go down. That is because ETH is owned by ICO companies, and when they sell ETH for investment, it is likely that prices will drop.

That I think is because of Vitalik's smart contract that opens up too much opportunity for many company to initialize and implement an ICO. I guess if Ethereum improves, more and more promising ICO will going to be launched in the future.

Indeed, with smart contract many bussiness can use ethereum blockchain and i think i am agree that ethereum is king of ICO. Most token in market using ethereum and i am believe ethereum price will recover again because ethereum used for paying transaction fee

Neo,tron blockchain just can't keep up with ethereum its the best for smart contracts and so far many great projects runs under erc20 blockchain so its a applause for ETH ,although it needs some fixing so let's wait for the 2.0 upgrades to see what that will fix
