The ICOs as a funding method, will not die. But due to the bearish market, it is very hard to collect enough funds without the investors interest. Just wait for the green market and every ICO will collect its hard cap.

Yes, you can say that at the moment the ICO is dying because with the collapse of the market investors are becoming more cautious in investing their money and the impact is that many ICOs fail because of lack of funds especially for small investors who will only participate when their capital returns and now capital they are stuck on certain coins

Investors are falling in numbers due to many SCAM ICO.

Your guess is as good as mine. ICOs are gradually fading out because the spoilers have over saturated the cryptocurrency market. They have scammed too many people which is why there is no more interest in it.

I do not know about you, but I see a positive trend in the processes of ICO. Yes, now projects collect less money, but this is how it should be, before almost every project collected money with a stupid idea, and then closed as it was not well-off, now reforms are taking place that make projects develop, which means it will give an impetus to market development.

I don't this is a bad thing if it's actually happening.  The Concept of ICO has been abused so much, that every project that's doing one is first bombarded with scrutiny and doubts just to be sure it isn't another scam.  We've suffered so much at the hands of scam projects and even though there are still legit good ones out there,  they have to battle the uncertainties and doubts that assail them and prove themselves first. So if they're dying out,  it's not so bad.  Many good ones will suffer,  but it's almost inevitable.  Scammers brought this on us. This is one reason I'm looking to invest in projects without ICOs.  Tapcoin is one of those.  They already have an established network base -Hoochapp- and are springboarding from this platform.

To me ICOs are not dead atall,  projects are still running and raising funds okay as long as the project is really good. At this rate not any project can raise funds with this market, Scam project can't successful run because nobody will invest in anyhow project.

Well, actually ICO is not dying though. The reason why the number of ICOs are very few now is because there were many bad ICOs in the past.
But now, only a good ICO will survive and succeed. Investors don't want to investing into new ICO without doing due diligence anymore.
Thats why many ICO have failed to collect the funds.

There are more ICO existing that are struggling to sustain their project what more those who are just startup. That's why it's better to have a working product if its a huge project.

i think there are some reasons that this happens.  first, the whole crypto market is down for considerable months already.  the project team would like to wait for bull run to come to get more people to invest in ico.  they wouldn't risk to launch now with people's mind hesitating to invest.  second is people are getting wiser each day, and they don't easily invest in ico just like last years.

Working product don't guaranteed success fund raising and in the future actually working project. I saw some ICO in the last year when MVP or beta are all that those projects can make. And I think ICO industry must be reformated. Maybe in the SCO, maybe something else

This effect on the ICO fund raising is due to longest bear market and because of that the negativity rising on the investors. But in this month there are so many ICOs going on which are worth investing like Temco, bridges protocol, ultrain, blocked etc. In cryptocurrency market ICOs are the only which brings out fresh money into business therefore ICOs will never die in the future as long as the ICOs have quality, vision, working product with great teams, advisors and partners behind them.

indeed this year's project is not like in previous years, maybe crypto prices are decreasing which can have an impact on investors to invest, and many projects that fail and extend sales, and some projects have not achieved the desired sales, indeed we must really be able choosing a project that promises success, and the price of the Token will be able to compete in the market later.

I do not think so.Just due to the market situation, many are afraid to invest thinking that the price will be even less and the team will raise funds but do nothing.Also, many investors are deterred by the fact that the price of the token after listing on the exchange is much less than during the ICO.Ie it can be concluded that the ICO does not die and are in standby mode

Market situation is obviously one of the reasons why we have seen this market a whole lot down at the moment and most especially for ICOs as well but that does not mean they do not have a chance actually at the end of it all.

There are still good and quality projects with solid products popping from ICOs daily, but it is just that a higher percentage of them are scams and with investors beginning to wise up and get their heads wrapped around what they should be looking for to stay safe when it comes to investing in a product then we are beginning to see less of them as they keep having failed ICO with no one paying attention to the scams, and probably this is the reason why some people may be thinking ICO is dying off, but in reality, it is actually getting cleaned up.
