Over the last year, ICOs have ramped up to absurd proportions. While they appear to not be going away, I believe there will be triggers in the near future that will push them out. There are good reasons to believe that the ICO we think of today won’t be around for much longer. While there were a few successes, it’s still too early to tell if any of these will be long-term movers in the market.

It is too early to talk about the death of ICO or about something similar, the process exists only a couple of years and has a rather positive dynamic despite the fact that every month projects collect less and less money. The cryptocurrency market is highly overvalued, as is the ICO, so only good projects should raise funds.

Yes, you can say that at the moment the ICO is dying because with the collapse of the market investors are becoming more cautious in investing their money and the impact is that many ICOs fail because of lack of funds especially for small investors who will only participate when their capital returns and now capital they are stuck on certain coins

You are right, in this situation all the investors are holding coins and investing more as the market is dumped. This is a great opportunity to invest even if you plan for short term in believe the market will pump by next month and you can make some profit.

But this year was the best for ICOs, but maybe not for all because there were a lot of ICOs in the market and people are more choosy about ICOs.

they are not dying but multiplying. what would happen if there is a lot of ICOs popping in? there would be a lot of competition and many will fail and few will succeed. investment will be spread among this ICOs so some will get enough funds while others will don't get enough funds.

I don't think so, currently there are still many ico projects that appear every week. and the problem for the success of ICo's current condition is so influential, the red trend is forcing many investors to choose to stay silent or try to divert investment in the altcoins that have been traded.

people become smarter. half a year or more ago people see an ICO put there their money. the team, the concept, the product don`t matter.
they think that this is a token, it will rise! now we see that investors become smarter. good ICO still have their money.

ICOs will not die off totally. We are in a period where investors are much wiser now so only ICOs that are fully ratified with a workable objective will receive funds and have a successful campaign. In other words, the weeds (shitty projects) are being removed and they will whither away leaving only very few good projects. That is why the number of ICOs have gone down.

ICO is far from dying off.  The ICO phenomenon is just getting started.  ICO will attracts smart money on quality project because most of the idea backing various project is really needed in real world, we Just need serious people in cryptocurrency that will push this through!

Actually I don't thing that ICO's dying off, I thing that raised ICO's funds are so little because of the market situation. Investors are afraid to lost theirs money because  there are only a small amount of ICOs who are survive in nowadays conditions
We will eventually start seeing the space being cleaned up actually, lesser ICOs but quality ones with product based on the fact that regulation will actually be changing a lot of things and bringing some form of maturity into this space.

I believe this space would get some transformation over time, I must say and of course there would be less scammer trying to pitch their products to the investors because they have no chance at all. Truth be told, we should not even have as much coins as we have presently, as most of them are shitty with no real life product, and that is what would change eventually.

Now the trend at ICO has passed, the hype subsided, but that does not mean that the ICOs will cease to exist, they simply will reach a new level, at which it will be more difficult to create a scam project, due to a more detailed study of projects at the stage of their development.

I don't think they are dying because every month there are a few innovations, simply most investors are doing hodl in established currencies that are likely to generate better profit since ICOs are very volatile and especially in a bear market that usually points downwards.

Some good project still succeed on their ICO but some of those ICO are just a shit project and that is why investors are not coming in. IMO, more investors now are just waiting for the specific project to be list on the exchange because they know the price will dump. ICO is not in a good position this year.

ICOs are really dying off because people are not participating in the buying of tokens to raise funds to the success of the project. This has even let to some projects extending their ICOs.

The hype about ICOs might have just died off. It's no longer profitable as it used to be coupled with almost all newly listed coin at a loss, the number of investors are declining.

Despite the situation of things in the crypto space, some ICOs are still succeeding. So we cannot generalize that ICOs are dying.

I think people not too interested on ICOs because market condition not too good. Not like early 2018, most ICOs reach their target funds because market condition is good and most coin increase their price. But current condition makes investor creating new strategy

They are not ding off not just yet, they still have a long way to go before the icos can die off entirely but for not they are still doing good. Even despite the bear market you can still see that the coins and the projects are taking in a good amount of money from the investors, with all of the scam scares that are here they are still doing well

ICO's aren't dying off as there are also investors who support good ICO's. Since there's a lot of ICO's nowadays, as an investor, we should be careful on what project we are going to support to avoid losing money.
