Presale was or not?

The business was backed by investment prior to main-net launch.
see list of investors here : https://www.beam.mw/investors

pretty much all of the questions you may have can be answered by reading on the website or using the community chat bot in our telegram channel.

If you look up on this thread a couple posts there is a how-to guide to help you use the bot.

PreMine is obtained was? How then were the early investors sold?

I too do not understand.
If there were early investors, why write that there was no PreMine?
In the end, No Pre Mine - implies that there are NO early investors.

Cheating?

As a startup small business, the company received angel investment. This is what funds development in the early stages, to give developers a rewarding recompense for their hard work and efforts. No Beam coins were mined prior to mainnet launch - which is conducted via decentralised proof of work.

You can see the sheer volume of work that the Beam development team do at the github.

There was no premine. You can read in detail all the info on the emission schedule here

https://medium.com/beam-mw/mimblewimble-emission-schedule-215551948259

it explains it all simply and honestly.

https://beam.sunpool.top

Zero fee mining pool to mine Beam anonymously and safely has just had a redesign!
Mine with a totally anon mining key and withdraw to any Beam address at beam.sunpool.top

Code:

Anonymous user accounts
To use Sunpool in an anonymous and secure way, miners need a pair of keys, which are easily generated on this page: https://beam.sunpool.top
- a public user key which you will use to configure the miner software and to access your public stats on the pool website (treat it as a user id)
- a corresponding private key that will grant you access to your balance on the pool and that must be protected and never shared with anyone (treat it as a password)

You can consider this pair of keys an anonymous user account. You can use as many accounts as you like when mining on Sunpool.

I don't like this chart they use to show emission though,

The last year in the chart is 2150 which makes the emission look like it's very low after the initial launch of the project, which is not true, instead a rapid emission will continue until about 2030.

Do they want to decrease amount of mining coins? The amount of coins in circulating increased from 5 mln to 27 mln in just few month. This looks crazy...

The emissions schedule is set and will not change.

Good point, the way the chart is reflective of emission does look excessive at accumulation point... we did want to include all the years of mining in a single chart however.. so I guess it just looks like this :/

The weekly report presents lots of things done by BEAM team. Personally, BEAM is a very promising project, and it might be one of outstandings when the bull run of altcoins occur. I don't know when the bull run for altcoins will appear, but I have a strong belief on performance of BEAM in such bull market.

Yep and lookong at the daily utxo output on the network, excellent distribution of those coins. This is exactly what we wanted. It shows a thriving community of Beam users.

Its too bad. I dont any sense invest with such big emissions. Everyday coins are adding in circulating and price will decrease day by day untill they will stop emissions in 8 years or so...
