I sell only the main coins that were at the peak of their popularity and now I try to invest as much as possible into coins that few still know about in order to make money in the future on the rise of a promising new project  Cool

Buy new ones to have something to fuck with their sale soon. To buy something with the stability of XRP. So far.

I have patience to wait to up again the value of the altcoins and I will not sell it until i get back my capital and earn profit. Because I have different plan for my altcoins because it depends to the potential of the coin until I when I hold it and when I sell it.

The lucid decision at the moment is holding instead of panic selling. Although the price of the market is bad, I still believe that it will improve in the next year 2019, so that I think the best decision is investing more and more crypto and holding cryptos then waiting for the bright day!.

Sometime the reason is simple, because of the need for unexpected things, such as needing cash and additional funds as soon as possible. It will force them to sell it immediately even though the price is so cheap and they will suffer losses later. It's like being in a position to not care about anything.

Bitcoin and the crypto market has not bottomed out already so there is still a chance for more decline before a possible bull run.
Right now a lot of people are selling off to cut their losses. I did not sell however.

For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?
We have different approach and strategy when it comes to manipulation of our portfolio. One may see it that his altcoins could useful to him if he convert to bitcoin then so be it while others think the opposite. Bottom line, we are here because we want to gain the profit that crypto brings.

I do not want to sell my altcoins now because I lose already 50% of my portfolio. I sold my LINA when it was 1500 sats and I am happy to do that since I saw it that falling for couple of days. After I sold my tokens, I prevent to spend a lot right now because I do not have money anymore. If I become a costly person, all of my coins will be wasted.

Not all altcoins will be able to recover their value. Transferring money in bitcoin or Ethereum is more reliable. However, among the altcoins there are promising coins that are better left.

I agree that is why it is better to sell them now when they still have the value and you can still save further loss. Still, coins that are reliable and already been in the market for quite some time may still recover and may also give you returns in the future.

told this before, people need something to eat!
unfortunately, we can`t eat altcoins or buy food with them, so I need to convert, in future, we definetly need a project, which made food and has their own token

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

I don't like it when people sell other coins just to buy bitcoin. Are you really that scared? Why not leave those other coins as they are and see the growth or profit they also bring you? I rather have 10 good coins in my portfolio than having just bitcoin.

I don't sell any of my coin right now. I'm holding even my altcoins.

I don't have plans of selling at the bottom of this market, it means loss for me so I won't do something that isn't favorable to me. I'm going to sell them soon if I'm very much satisfied with its price but for now, I don't have anything to sell on my portfolio.

In my opinion, people selling their coins is because they had a need with the money that they got from it.  or perhaps someone feeling afraid that they had to sell their coins at the exact time.

I have to disagree with the OP. I made the mistake of holding on to the altcoins for too long. This happened with Deep Onion, Bitsend and Byteball. Deep Onion had reached a valuation of BTC0.001 per coin back in January 2018. I didn't cashed out then. I waited till September, when I had to sell them for BTC0.00005 per coin.
