I still do not get this, how people can sell their tokens at such cheap prices, especially right now. It is the best moment to make your pockets full of crypto currencies and people are just selling everything for several cents.

This is not right time to sell your investment of coins and just wait for accurate time for sell. Market is very dump at this time and every body is resting her to keep coin in the wallet and just looking the market very lightly. So wait for while and good time.

I agree that now is not the best time to sell your altcoins. Of course, without the growth of Bitcoin is not possible market growth, but altcoins have excellent prospects for growth in the bull market and can bring you more profit than BTC.

Everyone has their own reasons. I always sell my coins to avoid dumping after the ICO. Another reason, because I had a big profit from holding coins in the long run.

We should wait for the best timing when market be back to the green trend. However, it doesn't mean we're selling it all as long as it doesn't meet the optimal price which potentially provide us sustainable profit. The ultimate groundbreaking market rise is our key to revenue, after all sorts of holding for longer span of time.

Crypto is such a strange market because we deal with so many moving parts. You have to consider the price movement from X to USD but you also have to consider X to BTC price fluctuations along with X to Y fluctuations.  It's a very difficult process and you can see why so many people just resort to bots.

I believe that the right idea is to sell all the low-grade altoquin. We have to get rid of them to increase the capitalization of cybercurrencies, which really deserve a higher price than they are now.
But not always it will make a lot of money , I think if the project is good and this project has little capitalization I think you can invest in it and not go into more fundamental coins

People sell their altcoin at their own choice, but selling at this bearish market is not the best option cos seriously you would actually be losing out

I don't want to advise to sell, but do you think waiting more than one year is "too soon"? I think it is not, and people are tired about wasting their time

Holders of cryptocurrencies do not trust small altcoins and sell it at the first opportunity. They just do not have trust in the growth rate of these altcoins. Altcoins fell in price much more than the leading cryptocurrency.

I think there's a huge difference between micro cap Altcoins and large cap altcoins.  Pot Coin and Ethereum are vastly different in terms of the validity of their project.

because we don't know what will happen later, what will be beneficial or even harmful. But my experience has held altcoin FDX, the initial listing price was good, after two months I did not hear the news again, when it was seen the price was destroyed in ruins. I was very sorry why I didn't sell it at the beginning ... it was my mistake

We can't paint with a broad brush across all altcoins though.  The specific altcoins he/she is in would dictate the timing, therefore would tell you if a move is potentially "too soon".    Smiley

Sells are occurring precisely because beyond the speculative idea there is no other to not be it! One of the ways to reduce concern about price is possibly a greater utility that outweighs speculative interest! Few projects have this capability. For example, there is a huge expectation for Dapps Games and this is justifiable. It is also returning more patience to these people and questioning their own actions and reducing greed.

it's up to you because it's your right and you can do it. it's better if you can wait until good market conditions might be better to wait, because the best and to avoid bad things. if you sell quickly in bad market conditions you will lose, but if that's the best for you it doesn't matter because you might not wait so you let go because the value is getting lower.

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

Well not for me, since usually the first time a coins get listed in the market, there is a big chance that the coin price will drop, so i will wait for the best chance until i got the right price to sell them.
Since keeping the value of altcoin is everyone's responsibilities.

if we dont believed to developtment of our token projects we should sell it immediately after its listed in market so we could avoid massive dumping and our asset value decrease.
I think most of the recent projects which successfully raised so much funds in their ICOs during the bear run of early 2018 and launched their platform or products successfully in later part of last year are now struggling with their tokens and some of those tokens are actually bleeding so much that they will need miracle to see their price get back to where they actually belong. Just look for Helbiz and World Wifi projects who are doing very well, regular developments are happening behind the scene but their token prices are absolutely destroyed in this long bear run.

I agree, selling your coins now is crazy, because when the market finally starts to grow, those who sold will begin to regret it!

People sell for different reasons. Maybe they need an emergency source of cash or they have found another reasonable investment elsewhere. So I won't blame them for selling their altcoins

I still believe the market can recover so I will not sell the coins I have at this cheap price is not profitable, I better wait until the market really improves even though it takes a long time is not a problem than I have to sell losses.

There are altcoins that can not be kept for a long time better to sell them at the peak of the price and do not keep it. Now all altcoins are far from their highs of course.
