No, we have the internet and internet is the internet.. You got it wrong i guess.. The blockchain is the totally different system, i couldn't get connected with the internet. This being said, I do not think Bitcoin is going to die completely. Some people believe that this technology is bigger than the internet. Well, coming to my perspective, I feel that Blockchain if not more prominent it is going to bring similar changes to the Internet. There was a time before the internet when people worked manually, however with the evolution of the internet era, the boundaries merged, the way of doing business changed, and at the same time, we have seen internet penetrating every corner of the world.  The internet was once considered to be a bubble similar to Blockchain that will soon burst. I don't think the blockchain will be the next internet, because the internal scope is bigger than the blockchain. The internet is a networked tool for all online users throughout the world. So blockchain is just one technology on the internet that brings together users to make transactions without affecting anything for the internet. no its not because  blockchain and internet are two different things .   blockchain is only a platform on which it can run application or softwares online while internet requires a hardware that is specifically designed to connect to a network   .  internet is more larger than a blockchain and internet do also cam first before blockchain is discovered and became popular along with cryptocurrencies  .
