[ANN][THC] The Hempcoin (THC)

I'm more interested in doing a diverse banding campaign. THC in general is quite popular among a certain crowd. HEMP is probably way more popular, but with a different crowd.

I would want someone to create a wallet called HEMP with all HEMP stuff that uses the same blockchain as THC.
Then once that is complete, someone could get HEMP on poloniex.

bittrex would have THC, poloniex would have HEMP. Both the same coin. No confusion involved.

This would extend the audience reach. It's an innovative idea that no coin has done yet.

Fair enough, but I think it would be somewhat confusing to some people though. I'd say if we rebrand then it should be everywhere.
THC might attract one type of crowd, but I think HEMP would be better with the public. Hemp farmers and such aren't necessarily down with cannabis.

That would be an amazing idea. I was just thinking a vodka with a hemp nug in it with > 1% THC levels. Less than 1% THC is considered HEMP.

Bong idea is cool, but is THC trying to get hemp farmers or endorse recreational pot use again? Less than 1% or 100% thc content doesn't matter if THC associates a bong with the coin. Bong equals recreational use association. Talking two different ballgames: 1 for legal hemp for farmers and industry, 1 for illegal pot for potheads just getting high. Choose the direction wisely. Once "recreational" is chosen, can't go back to the "hemp" direction without the "recreational" association....

the paper wallet looks awesome !! great work.

Here's a few suggestions to try:

- add a dot between each of the words 'hempcoin' on the left side in white.
- re-arrange the large hempcoin logo so that the 'right side up' hempcoin is visible.
- could try removing the background geometry/scafolding stuff.  it looks a bit 'busy' in the bottom left corner by the logo.

hard to say if my suggestions would help or not, but just some ideas to hopefully get you past the wall.  :-)

Capitalize the "h" in hempcoin in the two uses of the word "hempcoin", for Hempcoin Address and Hempcoin Amount, but not along the left side where the dot was suggested. It's fine to leave lower case along that strip as it seem like a security feature although it's not. Maybe add a little more of the hemp khaki color or a darker tan/brown to compliment the logo's color? The geometric pattern is cool, but not when it's blended over the other background images of the seeds and the farm. It makes it too busy. But totally deleting the pattern would leave it too plain. I suggest leaving the pattern in the middle and fade it into (or over) the edges of the background images to bring it all together but still leaving the images to define their association with the coin. Just my thoughts. You could leave it the way it is and it would be fine too.

It's a nice feature.

I hope PoS gets fixed by someone. I wonder if the HBN, ECC, FLT or HYP dev would want to work with @with the lemons! on getting PoS fixed.

No, GeoCoin is not my project.

I liked the idea of GeoCoin so I allowed @tobler to peer review the code and use it for her GeoCashing website.

I have also allowed @Joint Force to peer review the code and use it for The 420 Alliance Joint Force if needed.



I will be making the wallet open source one day. I am holding back on this though because if there is a bug and dumb developers use it... it could destroy some coins and give a bad rep. to altcoins. BY allowing the code to be peer reviewed bugs should be found.
