Once upon a time bitcoin wasn't use. Slowly bitcoin build its community and started use like buy pizza. And we can see now a days bitcoin uses increasing rapidly. As far as I know few altcoin has been using for payment system. And I believe it will increase more besides of bitcoin. I don't think a potential altcoin uses will be limited on gambling industry only. Who know what will happen after TEN years?

Fot now most of the store accepting bitcoin because it is popular and it is the main coin of all coins in cryptocurrency.
Altcoins will also popular but not just like bitcoin but you can see for sure a lot of store also accepting altcoins like ethereum the moat potential coin for now. But bitcoin is different because even it did not popular because they have pizza store who accepting bitcoin and fot sure the guy who use his bitcoin are losing more opportunity.Let's wait for the altcoins to grow more maybe it is not their time but surely in the future will the altcoins have many uses but for now they use usually in gambling and for the others.
Bitcoin in the world of cryptocurrencies is like a dollar in the world of fiat. It is taken everywhere. However, altcoins will be used further, I am sure. Ethereum will be the number one (among alts), and I guess, it will be not changed in the nearest 5 years. Active day traders use both BTC and tokens, as making pairs here, it is possible to get good profit. |

I think the future of altcoin can be used like cash, now it can be volatile, but later I think it will gradually become stable. And more importantly, it is the technology that will be applied. into payment, transactions ...
Currently a lot of great technologies are being applied in our lives and this will soon become more popular in the next 10 years because this market offers great opportunities for everyone and if you have trend of investing in technology is that this market is the best place for you to implement. The future is already here, most gambling sites are already using cryptocurrency for gambling already and we even have bitcoin gambling already. TRON also has a gambling site, so as credits to have their own gambling application and all of the gamblers that makes use of these sites uses the altcoins, this is even the area where I feel altcoins functions the more, because we have too many altcoins in the market and they cannot all function for the few activities that we have in the world.
If we say they will function for their own personal purpose, how many people really would use their products, so there will really be few altcoins that will make it to future because they are just too much. For now, they are just tools of investment alone.

I think not all altcoin will be useful on future. But mostly is useful for future. Cause blockchain is great technology for now & future, each altcoin has its functional.

XRP= Centralized one (hate to admit but this one will go for long).
No one can predict the future but their features are useful enough to be adopted.
The future is a mystery, but there is a sentence I've heard and I think is very good that is "the best way to predict and know the future is to create it". I am very sure that Altcoin will be used in the future because more new innovations will emerge which are needed by humans using blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. |

The only place I think altcoins has a future in is gambling, normal gambling but first and foremost e-betting.I can not see how it will take over from normal currency's in the world of buying or selling any other goods then btc. The main reason I think this is that nobody wants to be that guy that bought two pizzas for 10000 btc 5 years from now, so i cant really see what else it has a real future in. But that is only my opinion, What do you guys think?

If you don't see the future in alts, then it's worthless being in this space at all. It's a given that a lot of alts are worthless and won't serve any major uses. But you also need to understand that there are alt projects with use cases and real world application. There's a lot more useful alts than gambling and e-betting
Correct th op didn't know and understand well how altcoins useful in crypto world without not only in the gambling but it also useful as traded coins at the coin market cap spme of top altcoins trafed into fiat or we can use it to buy things in the selected merchants. |

I think most of the altcoins in the market mostly claim their usefulness as payment and they were meant not serve as an alternative to bitcoin, same way that bitcoin is created to serve as alternative to fiat, but the altcoins that we have now are just having similar technologies and not coming up with new innovations, if altcoins really wants to start having popularity like bitcoin, they first of all need to come together, and then re-strategies by reducing the number of altcoins that we have in the market, they have to merge for ones that can merge and dispose some that are just there lazy to push their projects. Altcoins anyway will only be used in other to supplement to the use of bitcoin, because bitcoin is the only decentralized coin in the market. |

So far because altcoin can run more blocks than bitcoin and the fees for each transaction are also smaller, with that I agree with you. Many experts also says that altcoin is suitable for use on gambling sites that require large, fast transactions every second. To be sure altcoin can also be used as a financial transaction maybe on auction sites or online payments, it also applies to bitcoin, cryptocurrncy is intended to cover the deficiencies of the bank system. |

Yes, indeed. The altcoin can work together with bitcoin as a payment method, so people don't have to use bitcoin to pay. They could use altcoin for many things as long as the merchant can accept the altcoin. But yes, for now, bitcoin will still be the option for us to make a transaction, but in the future, I guess that the altcoin can be used too. The altcoin itself will rise in the future, and we don't have to worry because if the right time comes to us, it will increase by itself. |

There are lot of opportunity that we could get from altcoins, although majority of them are not worth to invest. Only things we need is to be wise investors. In fact, few of the altcoins in some of the countries now are being used for mode of payment to other merchants like Ethereum, Bch, Xrp, and others aside from Bitcoin itself.

Altcoins are a kind of bridge between people and bitcoin. That is the more cryptocurrencies, the wider the use of blockchain and smart contracts, the more people will learn about Bitcoin and how to work with it. Decentralized technologies are the future and many processes can be transferred to them. Even the treatment of diseases will become better and more accessible if the experience of all the doctors of the world is stored in an open independent network and everyone can use it. Alts will be used widely (not all, for sure). |

It was growing shortly so many peoples are think little dangerous. But If you check the exchanges too much difference in price range so most are confused because two huge volume exchanges. I always concentrate top exchanges and top altcoins in crypto market, I think those are have good experience they will find the best place and best coin. |

Altcoins are occupy the major position in future because 21 million Bitcoin only mineble so automatically demand will increase in future. But peoples are move to another platform and this reached entire world at the same time few promising altcoins only survive in future because most are died in upcoming years.
Of course true and altcoins like litecoin or dogecoin might be in line for that option. We can't jettison altcoins, they have purpose and especially now, some project are ongoing and they have hood prospect to better the society. |
