It all depends on how creative developers can get to bring real use cases to Crypto. We need strong teams that know what is needed in the market and what can make a difference. I think mostly cryptos will be used for payment gateway transactions, and if developers are clever to cash in on the remittance market, then that will be billions of dollars of use cases right there. For example, my husband is living abroad right now due to his job and he remitted me some funds. So instead of using western union which is frightfully inconvenient and expensive, he used Bitcoin, which saved us both hassle and fees. I think some good cryptos can take this role and get a chunk of this very important economic market. Especially in Africa and Asia where you have many people sending money to relatives back and forth.

For financial reasons mostly, however even nowadays, you have a bunch of options for crypto currencies in daily spheres. Starting from real estate, ending with gambling websites. We have a bright future in front of us full of crypto.

More than likely by now, the OP has already changed his perspectives. Because alts can be practically used everywhere in our daily living mostly as a means of payment system. Indeed, cryptocurrencies have bright future as more and more institutions are launching their own blockchain projects.

I think there will be some altcoins that find a niche such as Ethereum as a platform for tokens or smart contracts, or there will be others that are used for privacy or micro transactions. If an altcoin doesn’t find a purpose it will most likely fail.

In my opinion, altcoins are not a good choice and will not be used in the future. altcoin is not showing its position in the market because of the significant decrease in value.

Not all altcoins are bad but yes majority is of the useless ones. We shall not put our maximum funds into them as they disappear very quickly from the market. As far as their future usage is concern, they are simply; the famous ones will be used for daily small payments for food and so on. They could be used for clearing bills but never would be used for making big transactions because that is only done with bitcoin.

this could have happened if the regulations and also crypto users had increased significantly, because if not then the use could not be maximized as expected. I kinda agree with you on the gambling part, thou nowadays there are few ICOs that proposes gambling as their project some became succesful some don't, online gambling or e-betting gives user more comfortable and efficient way of gambling, it makes their life much easier, for now as far as I know gambling has the greatest potential for the usage of altcoins. With hundred coins listing on exchange market today I think there are not have one coin adopted and use for real product and I don't know about how about in the future will they accepted and used altcoin as their partner platform, I think many altcoin worth with higher price and have old of year but looks never can make company trust with altcoin as payment and use for the future.

The crypto future is still long. Crypto still takes time to be known for its technology and legalized around the world. But if it considers gambling to be the future I think it is very risky at all. So we just wait for the developers to make innovations in the future will be Bitcoin versions that can replace the new crypto ecosystem.

This year for sure that most of the altcoins will be gone as this year, this is the time to move on and let's focus more on other new potential projects that we will watch out for this year. Let's just focus on altcoins that we think will have the potential to grow for long term rather than those altcoins that were just hyping to attract users.

The possible thing to happen there will be no a blockchain protocol as bitcoin is the first coin who has bought it for us. Remember the creation of smartcontract was also coming from the further development of the bitcoin source code and that means bitcoin blockchain as the basic reference to buy the current existing protocol in the market

yes it's true that it takes a long time to realize it all over the world, I consider ALT is the source of the new innovation, because bitcoin is only an alternative as payment. but ALT has a lot opportunity to development.

I think altcoins was a good token for gambling agree with that in gambling in could easily have its value and it is even use in a lot of gabling website and even in a real casino their are other currency use to play the game. But when it comes to altcoins becoming a real currency I don't think this could still be a great currency since it is just a altcoins or "alternative tokens" in the market probably for a lot of users they already have a bad experience when it comes to altcoins and even ICO's. Surely in the future a lot of altcoins in the market is going to become a dead token surely the best digital currency bitcoin will be the one that is going to be implemented in a lot of countries as a digital currency and a lot of altcoins in the market is just trash.

Thinking about this I think only popular altcoins in the market could still remain in the market since they are already implemented in the market and probably already have a demand in the market.

Lol, I think there is a purpose for every altcoin that is being created and they are just going to serve for those purposes alone, and some of them might not be successful because I know there are lots of projects that usually fails, only a few will stay for long and there will still be more coins being created every time with some of them being a replica of what has been done before. Bitcoin will always be at the top and it will be seconded by Ethereum. These two are really good and the way I see them, they have really come to stay.

Maybe few altcoins may survive to exist and to serve its purposes and all other altcoins may get vanished over the time as they were not created with an uniqueness. When we cannot be sure about one coin's purposes then how we can assume about its survival in this highly competitive crypto world.
