Only a few altcoins are in development and tie-ups but whereas most of the coins are in pause stage with no movement of development the main reason is bear market

Yes it will be only possible while all currencies are in good moment it can be the way to develop the Crypto market to enter into all type of fields for buying goods and services otherwise the thinking will be not possible as soon as we can make a move. |

I have this vision too as you because right now, cryptocurrency still trying to reach more people to join in the cryptocurrency and I hope that many people will soon realize about this. I am sure that if people see the cryptocurrency as their new opportunity to have the best investment besides of their offline investment, then they will start to buy any coins, especially bitcoin as their new investment. |

Altcoins are occupy the major position in future because 21 million Bitcoin only mineble so automatically demand will increase in future. But peoples are move to another platform and this reached entire world at the same time few promising altcoins only survive in future because most are died in upcoming years.
What makes the coin died or not is supply and demand. Even after all the Bitcoin supply has been used up to be mined but the demand for BTC is increasing, do you still call it as a dead coin ? How about the project that promising a new vision but no demands so when this coin enter the market, there's no movement of volume at all |

The only place I think altcoins has a future in is gambling, normal gambling but first and foremost e-betting.I can not see how it will take over from normal currency's in the world of buying or selling any other goods then btc. The main reason I think this is that nobody wants to be that guy that bought two pizzas for 10000 btc 5 years from now, so i cant really see what else it has a real future in. But that is only my opinion, What do you guys think?
altcoins to be used in payments or in any other case even i dont think it will be possible because price should be very stable to be used in payments and to replace domestic currency it will not going to happen for many years |

altcoins to be used in payments or in any other case even i dont think it will be possible because price should be very stable to be used in payments and to replace domestic currency it will not going to happen for many years The answer is in the development of some altcoins will be used for the future otherwise all of the kinds will not be profitable for the development so if the future will be allowed the altcoins to be developed it will be possible |

I do not think the future is that bright for most altcoins at the moment as the whole market is depreciating everyday,probably the bitcoin future looks bright as its the king of the cryptocurrency sphere and definitely cannot die, but for altcoins,just like the OP said,probably just with an exception of a few I think the rest are just probably shitcoins |

If you don't see the future in alts, then it's worthless being in this space at all. It's a given that a lot of alts are worthless and won't serve any major uses. But you also need to understand that there are alt projects with use cases and real world application. There's a lot more useful alts than gambling and e-betting
altchoin has many variations, but the top altchoin in the future is still very promising if we look at its development, so don't hesitate if we still have a trading spirit and support competition in trade, say the top altchoin is still interesting for now and future altchoin moves up is Etereum, Ripple and if we still double the safe position of course we have to invest in bitcoin. |

I think we can also use Altcoin any way you can use it depending on the situation. altcoin or bitcoin anywhere you can use it for the future, because both are good but each one of us has their own opinion of how they will be used and there is a saying that altcoin and bitcoin are best for all cryptocurrency for gambling and betting, I have nothing to say about the best coin because it's both going forward.

There are now altcoins that surpasses bitcoin in terms of speed in transactions. Actually, Ethereum became more popular because it now surpasses the VISA in transaction. I am sure that altcoins will have a important function in the cryptocurrency market in the future.

Is there your question about altcoins applications or blockchain technology adoption at all? I can see few branches where blockchain could be used, some possible uses for cryptocurenciess too (unless another technology will be invented - which I find very likely) F.e bitcoin few years ago was one of the best way for international money transfers... and now there is higher and higher competion (some of them using blockchain) |

I think, altcoins would be used in all major places in the upcoming future. Mot only gambling but each other possible field. Even for now we can see a lot of new startups which accept their own token as a mean of payment on their platform. Their tokens maybe of not that use in the current markets but if the project goes well, they might alsos turn a stable altcoin ahead which will be used in major markets. No doubt that the altcoins will be used in gaming.
We can expect each major activity with the help of altcoins as we can even buy a piece of land or our daily commodities with the help of altcoins.

You just post the reality. Take ethereum as an example, it was created to surpass visa in speed and that is working perfectly. Some of the altcoins have more powerful security than bitcoin and in future I strongly believe that countries are going to prefer the used of altcoins than the banking and financial system we are currently using. If most of the altcoins that we have now are developed there are going to solve most of the financial problems we are having now. |

It depends on the purposes of the coins like AR COINS which is use to purchase online shopping and also other example is the massive adaptation of ripple which is use by shipping company as payments, so these are the example of coins that are usable in the future. |

I only see the top altcoins in the marketcap that will get commonly used in the future like DGB, XRP and Eos. But we all know that bitcoin will be the main coin in the spotlight for the digital payments and the first one to circulate the most before the other altcoins.

The most uses of altcoins nowadays are for speculation. There are many traders who keep buying and selling altcoins because of the benefits that they keep getting from it. |
