It's better to do both save Bitcoin and save money in the banks,if you have savings in Bitcoin and you have savings also in the bank you have a option if you need urgently fiat because we cannot assure that Bitcoin price is always high due to it's market volatility.

In bitcoin price were always volatile so it is hard to rely the future by saving money for your kids in bitcoin. Might as well look for other ways to have safety your money than bitcoin. Were not certain the future of bitcoin although their is a possibility price could grow.

It can be a good way to save money for kids through bitcoin because no one can say saving money by investing in bitcoin will go in vain because no one can predict the bitcoins future but if your friend is going to use his entire life savings I don't advice him to do that because even bitcoin is potential still it is new to the financial market and it is a unnecessary risk to take so the best thing to do is invest some amount in bitcoin which can do a big help for the child if bitcoin do well in the future

Crypto save for our kids bright future not a bad idea i think. Now good chances to save money because market will bull run next some months.
But i suggest don't put your all money in this place because if market dropping badly when you will be loss your child future.
