I don't think that holding it now is a bad idea, don't look at the bad scenario of the present value that has it now. Instead, you better take advantage the opportunity to buy them now while the price was in cheap value, before its too late. Remember, regret always comes at the last. So you supposed to grab the chance we had it now dude.

when the price of bitcoin falls, we have many people angry and complaining that the price falling. when the price increase, people creating many thread with much optimism, but people forget if the price increase from $ 3000 to $ 20,000, then the price could also drop from $ 20,000 to $ 3000

you are practically suggesting that people leave the boat, as if it were the end of bitcoin. if you want to leave the boat, then leave the boat. there are still many like me who like bitcoin

I wouldn't say it's a bad idea, because I think sooner or later bitcoin will move upwards, the problem is that we don't know when, and you're going to have your money here for so long? you don't know when it could recover, it could last for years in which any other investment would already be giving you profits.

the price is down now and lots of people are trying to sell so they don't make further losses but then i will say holding whatever amount of BTC we own is the best idea currently as thought price is down, we hold for a long term and wait for price to bounce back

I think bitcoin is at its very low and it may now go below 3000$. With this in mind, anyone who buys now at current price, has a very good chance that he /she will get good profit as soon as the market recovers at start of next year hopefully.

it is nt advisable to sell btc when the market is going down these kinds of panic situations will come in any financial market that doesn't mean the market is dead again bitcoin correction completes and bounce back to previous levels

I don't think especially if you can get bitcoin at the lower price and you have much bitcoin in your wallet. Holding bitcoin will give you benefit but not in this day and maybe in the future because right now, the price still on the lower price. But it depends on what your strategy with bitcoin and if you think that holding bitcoin right now is a bad idea, then you can sell your bitcoin, but if the price can increase higher than the price now, you will regret because you already sold your bitcoin.

The situation might not be clear righgt now, and it is unwise to make decision on what to do next without taking the time to see what will happen with therr current market, prices may have gone down by a significant amount, but bitcoin still the best investment out there and selling and quiting is not the awnser we already lost a lot and doing so will make it even worse, i personally i am still holdfing and will keep on doing so because i beleive that in the next couple of months we will see some improvments.

It depends on what your strategy is:

- if you plan to remain involved into cryto for long-term, then during this bearish market you can continue to hold and eventually buy more cheap btc
- if you plan to exit, you can accept the loss and liquidate your Btc as price will not recover very soon.

You should be able to think far ahead. Bitcoin is a financial system that has a very large market share.

Yes, I believe that it is not yet the right time in buying more btc as the market keeps on going down drastically. People should refrain and observe the market trend and wait until they see it's improving. However, in this current scenario, people should hold their btc investment prior to selling for it will soon to recover since people will lose more. More patience is required this time and don't let your emotions dictate your decision making.

Holding right will be depend on how you strategized. As of today we cant tell if bitcoin continue fall of price yet we dont know also if it goes up. But one thing for sure. Bitcoin will have its value no matter what.

Probably yes. the price continues to go down and a lot of HODLers are not in the mood on holding their BTC anymore, I probably think that there are people who have set their price points whether they are to hold or sell their remaining Bitcoins, as Christmas slowly comes forth the price of BTC is not going so well, lets just hope that the year would end in a good way.

Today's down trend gives a lot of speculation whether bitcoin will survive or not. But for me, I will keep my eyes on the market. I already hold some and my plan is, if the price keep moving down, I will make another buy order. Will sell it in the future if the price soar again. The result for my action today, will be answered someday.

I prefer to sell it but only partially, to minimize losses when the bitcoin falls lower, even though the market is down but there is still a possibility the market will rise again, so I will keep holding some of my assets until the price rises again.

if everyone has the same opinion as you, then what happens is prices will continue to shrink because people will continue to sell their assets and buy at lower prices. trust needs to be grown so that demand can rise and prices back up, and we no longer need to do cutlose again..

It is definitely not a bad idea to hold Bitcoin right now,  because the price has fallen. It is a good idea to hold Bitcoin because it has potential of rising up to $10,000 so those holding it will enjoy huge profits when it rises.
