a lot of good news coming in wavesplatform
in the last few days, waves price growing hardly, even rise more than 100% my friend

is this a sign if waves will be the next ethereum ?

They are struggling on their rank they are now on the 23th and they are also struggling with the price, so I doubt if they can be a real threat to Ethereum, they are down 0.24 % as of this writing, they will have to work on to get into the top ten then we can talk about replacing Ethereum.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

It seems that it still needs a lot of things to be able to convince investors to choose Waves rather than Ethereum, this is because ethereum's performance is more promising and has risen to more than 5000% in 8 months, especially the support of ever-increasing ERC-20 based tokens.

I don't think that Waves will become the next supposed Ethereum beater, having been involved with a token listing on their platform it has been difficult to trade as no other exchanges are available and the team have been supposedly difficult to work with according to our Dev.

There where a lot of scam tokens on there also pretending to be something they were not.

That will not happen and waves will never replace ethereum, Waves are barely trying to be relevant as a platform and doesn't offer anything different or worthy enough to replace ethereum.

Why do you have such an idea? Isn’t Ethereum not good enough? The second coin of the cryptocurrency market value will not be easily overtaken. I am still a loyal supporter of Ethereum. I don't believe that Ethereum will be surpassed by him.

Waves has great potential and good crypto technology, but I don't think it will go beyond Ethereum because it doesn't have a huge user base.

It is difficult to replace Ethereum in the near future, if they do not make a valuable surprise then it is certainly difficult to replace ethereum, especially the market ethereum situation is getting better and looks promising than Waves.

When I see postulations or comparisons like this, I laugh. Saying waves will replace Ethereum sounds vague to me. Those two projects are kings on their own lane, Ethereum has its own very unique features, and so does Waves. For me, Ethereum has far more  prospects than Waves. That's how someone said in the past that before 2019, an altcoin will replace Bitcoin, here we are, nothing like that has happened. Let's stop dropping postulations without facts. I understand this is a question though, smiling.

These are different coins, but nevertheless, the Waves platform takes into account many shortcomings that exist in other coins!  So it is quite possible!

no, Waves can never replace Ethereum. Ripple was once a tough competitor and even won the ethereum position in second place. but it proved it wasn't for a long time. ethereum has very good community trust.
once again Waves will not be better compared to Ethereum

i dont think wave will replace ethereum ,ethereum being first platform blockchain hold major share of market and majority of project prefer to be erc20 token rather than other blockchain but waves being one of the fastest blockchain and lpos protocol gain upper hand in transaction speed and cost, but as eth is planning to shift to pos then eth will gain upper hand.there are plenty of development in waves ,now smart contract are being introduced which make it second to ethereum.

Nothing bad can not say about the waves platform, in my opinion this coin has a chance to be and develop in this market. But even though I personally claim that waves cannot take the place of ethereum. Even it is difficult to imagine what the waves developers have to do to make this coin able to compete with Ether.

It seems like this is a difficult mission, ethereum is currently ranked second after bitcoin, before thinking of replacing ethereum then I suggest entering the top 5 immediately, we know that crypto competition is very tight and many devs. who do everything to be able to make their coins enter the top 5.

The waves are of course a good coin. But ETH is not going to give up their positions. So I do not think that the waves will be able to take this position in the next 5-10 years.

Completely agree with you, and I think that the Waves will never be able to replace the Ethereum, first of all because of the level of development, and even more because of the capitalization.

A rise in a coin like waves does not justify that it will replace ethereum, ethereum has come a long way that waves is yet to achieve.

I guess not, it is quite complicated to think of the capabilities of waves that it can replace ethereum in the future. Well, they should have first some smartcontract features or even other that can surpass eth.

We all have bet in this market, we support different coins and I think he just love to hold on his waves. I do love ETH, it creates money for me but I have to admit that waves is also a good coin. I don’t have to pick for the best, I just need to be more wise on what to choose when it comes to my investment, this both coin can give us profit.

I believe that the waves do not have enough potential to replace ethereum. Due to the fall of the market, Eth works at a low price and shows poor performance, but it will not work badly in the future. Ethereum is a very promising project, which is simply not right to compare with the waves
