Waves will replace ethereum

price increases do not guarantee the coins will be better than ETH we know eth is the king of alt, I know waves have a fast network to send tokens, but that will not be enough to defeat it, and also the price of btc will affect alt so if you think waves will defeat ETH in terms of capitalization is still too far, even xrp still has difficulty doing it.

Waves have zero chance for replacing Ethereum because it has a small userbase, small developer team unlike Ethereum. Waves market capitalization is relatively small compared to Ethereum. When it comes to trading volume, Ethereum double Waves 30 times over.

It has similiar system like ethereum but smaller market.
but it does not rule out the possibility to waves surpass ETH if they can make the system better and their marketing strategies is better than ethereum

If in said waves will be the next ethereum I do not think. Because the Ethereum platform is often in use rather than waves. But do not close the possibility can only waves later better than Ethereum. Remember before the existing anti-existing there must be innovations and benefits from the previous one.

Link, Cosmos, and other new alts has the better chance because they have more bigger community and support.

Dinausors are not forgotten and actually they are one of the basis of research in archeology and ancient history.


It is a sad thought that Waves cannot keep up with the phase of technology development and marketing and awareness campaign.  Waves had been so promising when it starts but at the end it fell short and keep lagging  behind.   If they wanted to overcome the cryptocurrency infront of it, they should triple their effort in developing roadmaps and adding innovations in their platform.

Hardly doubt that any altcoin will replace ETH in the nearest future. It is getting harder and harder to compete with big altcoins at the moment, but a solid coin cannot drop from 3 USD to 0,8 cents within a week.

Agreed, waves have been around for yrs now and they still arent being talked about, newer blockchain projects are already being used by companies which waves failed to do. I guess Sasha is comfortable with his life now that he doesnt market waves agressively.

For waves itself, waves already reach $16.69 in rank#66, to beat ETH, i don't think waves can do that in near future, the real top contender i think it's BNB, BNB keep growing and keep breaking their ATH and already reach $480 today, it's only a matter of time for BNB to beat ETH, i think in the second half of 2022 BNB really really can replace ETH position in the rank 2 in the marketcap.

But comparing with ETH is irrelevant to me. When ETH went to the third position, many people talked ETH days end, now Ripple, EOS, WAVES' time. Because those coins are their favorite or they do trade with these coins, otherwise there is no chance in these coins to replace Ethereum. This is my personal observation though.

Waves must be a good coin but I believe due to lack of support from investors it is still undervalued. As far as I know waves got all the features of ethereum but for no reason it is not getting that much attention in this crypto space. I'm sure ethereum was not the first a coin to introduce small contract platform feature but waves is also having that. Probably, with this ongoing bull run of altcoins space, waves may find some good investors so that it will get into top 50 marketcap and then it may get keep attracting more adopters and investors so that waves will be a competitive one against ethereum and other similar coins.

The same opinion with you because never have any space and chance for WAVES replace with ethereum function or ethereum price, WAVES now under $30 and ETH have raise above $2,200 and how come could make WAVES replace with ethereum. How ever although two or seven years later never can't touch higher price like ethereum for WAVES coin.

Until now, the 2021 altcoin season has not been able to replace ethereum, even the current waves are not attractive to investors seeing the price of waves that have no loud explosions. I think the issue is raised for waves so that they will be glimpsed by investors. so eth cannot be replaced by any coins.

Waves early adopter here;) I guess we are all hopeful in this crypto rally that our beloved token can see a renewal. ATH in price is good yes,,, and I always did agree that development on this platform was really always positive. Does anyone remember how awesome their original DEX lite was? and this was in 2016/7!

I am not a fan of waves but you are wrong if you say waves are not unique at all, if you are observant of waves you will be able to find lots of unique Waves features like Waves-NG POS which is a consensus algorithm which allows you to do around 100 transactions per seconds, which will make the wave of the fastest decentralized blockchain system in the world, although the popularity of Waves is not as big as ethereum, at least we cannot deny that Waves is also one of the best decentralized platforms that are currently still active and growing like the BSC and ETH platforms.

Honestly I don't have confident that waves could beat ETH or even BNB, Waves according to its price does not really pump in regular market situation, it only pump during the bull run and it has a limited price increase.

As of now, it's only $13 and it has not breakout yet unlike ETH and BNB which is really profitable this season.

Waves needs more adoption, and the way I see it, they are not so aggressive so they can't get their target, I also invested with Waves but get out after I got bored waiting.

In the title of the thread is about waves will replace etherium not BNB. We all know about BNB have some huge changing and if we look at the price of BNB are in a high price.

If we look back in time 2017 waves one of the trusted coins that I hold and I earn from these coins enough.
But suddenly they are back down the price Ill think in these year waves we will come up again into a high price. But wave cannot replace etherium to being a number two spot.
