if dev decide to reduce or something else on coin.please don't forget to make it all clear code/wallet/pool and all component.because some miner very sensitive when mistake happen.

Changes will be made after some blocks so that everyone can easily update their wallets.

So what does the average person/miner have to do, adjustment wise, if the block reward is changed to 50 as it looks it may be?

Edit:  Also, has something like this been done before, successfully?  I am concerned about future adopters being bothered by it.

My feelings is that there will be big dump if price raise too fast after reducing block size. In fact it does not really bother me, because it means more undervalued coins for bagholders <3.

Just curious:
What is the expectation of the coin value at April 24th?
When I look at Poloniex or Bittrex I just get disappointed when I look at the coin value compared to other newly released coins, like GermanyCoin and EFL.

No one knows what the value would be but $1 is a good starting point. I am pushing for a revised specs that includes reduced total coins and small block rewards.

i agree with you, with current price, even ipo buyer lost 5/6 of their investment,i think we should reduce the block reward to 250coin/block, or even 50coins/block, otherwise we will have so many cheap coins at April 24th.then it  will very difficult to do something with the price

how about set the block reward to 50 coins/block and reduce the total coin supply to 21 million coin, just like bitcoin. i think if we do something like this, then we can expect the price will reach 1$ at April 24th, other wise, it's really difficult to reach 1$. best wish to pawncoin. anyway i will support this coin

While I agree that a reduced size may be a good thing, that kind of gives us "early adopters" a bit of an unfair advantage over the new people discovering the coin.  In the day and age where there are 100 million different altcoins, I don't think that it would be a good image move.  People are already turned off from the idea of a premined coin, but  they may really shy away if they realize that the people who mined in the first month or so will have a massive amount more of coins than anyone else.

All in all, I think we all know the biggest driver of the value of this coin is going to be the Pawnshop coming in the next month and whether or not that is successful.  I would not get hopes up for large price increases until that.
if we agree to reduce the block reward, dev can announce it 10 days before he make the final decision. then people also have time to join the mining.

Maybe the total supply should be reduced to collide with the release of the shop. It will be cool if mining stop at April 24  and miners only have to mine TX fees

I voted to bring back the block reward till 50. But maybe we should try 250 or 175 first to see what kind off effect it has on the hashrate and the price. What some other friends here on the community already said that it would scare the users to mine and support the pawncoin.

Something else: Big compliments to the Dev-team what a promotions and what a good list of new features you will add within the next month! Very Very great job. When the coin has all these features we could start a big promotional plan Smiley great job all of you guys!!!

And of course also a special thanks to the whole community who keeps supporting this coin Smiley

Lets all keep up the goodwork and keep supporting this great coin! Smiley

#Pawncoin will be added to CryptoSpecs an app dedicated to providing useful live data stats (current price, difficulty, reward, change/24) and static data stats (total supply, algorithm type, official website etc) for cryptocurrencies.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kyriakosalexandrou.cryptospecs

It will be pretty cool if the community is hard working as Pawncoin Team Sad. ... Congrats on the achievements so far Smiley

lets be honest, Pawn has no community right now  Embarrassed and probably will not have a community, your coin is built for utility.
Pawn shop does not need a community, it needs to provide service.
