Withdrawals will operate on a first-in, first-served basis because of the 51% attack, meaning users who withdraw later may not be able to do so. If you do not take action you will risk losing your funds.

I believe about 3% of total coins on Cryptopia were lost in attack.

This has been a coin with a clear prophecy and it still is. Forking it will just leave you with an empty shell, without any real purpose other than being yet another fork.

I'm getting involved as of now in any way I can to support the original team and start rebuilding the foundation it needs to enable the creation of exactly the structure it was intended to build in the first place.

I have just updated the crypto-docker project at https://github.com/bostontrader/crypto-docker.  Among other things, fans of of MZC might be interested in the following:

With crypto-docker you can build docker images that contain the MZC binaries built from a recent commit of https://github.com/MazaCoin/maza
 using Alpine Linux.

You can choose to build an image without debug symbols, but with optimization, resulting in a rather small image of about 181 MB.  This is built with QT5 and can be viewed from a VNC viewer on the host system.

Or you can choose to build an image with debug symbols and no optimization, resulting in a larger image.  But this image includes gdb and gdbgui which enables you to debug the executables using gdb and a GUI.

I was wondering why a seemingly dead coin was one of the first coins secured after cryptopia hack outage. So I started buying MZC again. After my purchase, cryptopia added the red delisting color to my wallet (no it was not there before I purchased). I'm in the middle of building the desktop wallet for linux but already had success downloading the android app from the play store and noticed 2 running nodes.

Is this the sleeper to the moon or is MZC truly dead and I'm just the last crypto zombie hoarder to stumble on this old favorite?

MZC could always turn token, maybe UBQ asset like DOT?
