In my quest to be part of bitcointalk history I would really love to run my first sig campaign just to experience and try it out, but all campaigns now need Sr.Member at least so I would appreciate any help. I have made some threads in the Altcoin discussion and speculation categories and would appreciate some love (and Merit ) in my fight to make people aware that a lot of Altcoins are overpriced. Often I will also mention how Bitcoin would have gained them more over time than expensive Shitcoins.

You are able to make good posts and you can earn merit in a few months and rank up to Senior member. I really believe in your ability and you can get it without any complain about the shitty merit system.

Although merit sources can dump their sourced merits on you and help you ranking up, complain and beg for merit can ruin your chance to get such merit dumps.

Do not beg for merit excessively.

I hope someone from the m'sources has several merit to evaluate the publications presented below, and I would like to think that apart from LoyceV, someone from the m'sources is still looking at this thread. Btw, taking this opportunity ... and judging by the history of the last few pages of this topic, I see that it is quite acceptable to add personal publications, (although I would not mind if a new rule was added on this matter).

For a second, it seemed to me that your dissatisfaction was due to the fact that the merits sent would be considered "wasted"... IMHO, this is almost the same as if you said that LoyceV or another m'source should no longer send merit to those who have reached the maximum rank.
Merits are intended not only to maintain and increase their rating on the forum, but also to emphasize the importance of the post, (regardless of whether a person has left for another world or simply disappeared without a trace as Satoshi).

The posts you referenced were all made by members who definitely are not undermerited--which I thought was the point of this thread. 

As a merit source, I'm personally interested in finding good posts made by less senior members, as they're the ones who need the merits to rank up.  There have been a few threads recently in Meta bitching about how hard it is to rank up, which leads me to believe that members are starting to care about that again--and probably because of bitcoin's huge price increase making sig campaigns more lucrative. 

Anyway, I'll make this offer once again: If you think you've made some decent posts yourself, don't hesitate to PM me and ask that I review your post history.  I will be happy to do so.  Just don't beg me for merit outright.

Heh heh....thank you.  You can just call me Sceptical Chymist without the "The".  It's cleaner.

And thank you for PM'ing me what you posted here, because I would have missed it since I don't check this thread regularly.  I did take a look at at least the first few pages of each of those members and did my best to distribute some merits among them.  One member (soliton) I could only see two posts for, so they probably post in sections that I have on ignore.  The other members post mainly in the WO thread and a lot of their posts were one-liners, but I did find a few decent ones.

See?  If you PM me with requests to review post histories, I'll do it--and usually I have enough sMerits to give, although I just ran out of source sMerits and tapped into my earned ones, but that's no big deal.  It's not like I'm saving them for a special occasion.
