Where a trader judges his own risk taking capability and put a stop loss for each and every trade he executes. Same thing goes in gambling as well. The only difference is that, you can't put a stop loss through the system in gambling so the stop loss should be implemented through your own mind. I think that's where you are lacking!

I got a profit in gambling in 2018. I started with a small amount only and lucky for me, I got some profit and then I stopped gambling for the meantime. I withdrew all of my funds in gambling site to my address where I put my BTC holdings.

Gambling is not a work that will give you money but a way to give entertainment only so just spend a little bit of your money. 10 BTC is too much if I'm in your position right now. I can't gamble 10 BTC

Aw, its too big. I think you can afford to lose that money since you will not gamble that if you can't take the risk. I just made a small profit in gambling, I don't want to put more time of playing because I don't have much money to lose for, I just want to have fun of course. Gamble what you can afford still a waste of money, assess your strategies because you might already in a wrong directions towards your goal.

My best advice to you would be, stop gambling. 10 bitcoin is too much to lose in gambling maybe except if you are a whale, which I reckon you are not.

no i am not whale honestly i can't afford a pinny to lose. 10 btc that what i had i lost some in chasing losses.whale have 10 btc LOL in my view whale and shark have atleast 10000 or more  btc and ofcourse i had not more then 12 btc . so i am not whale.whale and shark influence over market but yeah i had seen whales in gambling site throws 100 plus btc in one shot .You don't need to reckon me i am Whale ofcourse i am not lol.

The best thing I can say here is just to move on and make 2019 a better year by making safer investments and finding newer ways to make money besides gambling. It is indeed true that there are professional gamblers out there, but such an occupation's not for everyone and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of documentation on how to become one to me on the internet, though if you really want to become a professional gambler, I'm sure there's relevant information online somewhere as long as you look deep enough.

That’s a lot of money and its sad that you lose that easily. Well, I don’t lose that much last year and I don’t even make more profit since I limit myself to gamble and focus in trading instead. Yes, don’t give up buy maybe its better for you to stop playing, becausee losing 10BTC is not for fun anymore you might missing something.

I think you should forget what you lost and start gambling from 0 again. Because most of the time, gamblers who try to recover what they have lost previously will get more loses instead of recovering the loses. Having target and limit is a must thing to do before you start gambling but the most important thing is how you control yourself in order to stick on your target and limit because most gamblers are forgetting it while they are gambling.

I think you should forget what you lost and start gambling from 0 again. yes i won like 5 btc before big losing streak start,chasing losses cost me more i wish i would stop earlier but did not.i did not control my emotions during busting .

I've noticed that gamblers often treat the same situations differently. Knowing well that they normally shouldn't risk more than they can afford to lose, they are still doing that when chasing their losses, as if it's an exceptional situation. But it isn't. There are no exceptions for this rule. The fact that you lost a lot before doesn't contribute to the higher probability of winning.

OP seems a guy lost the BTC because he was chasing. 10BTC is a lot of money. If this is an amount for someone who can afford to lose it then I guess that someone is a whale for sure have 100s of BTC.

That's the spirit which everyone including the loser should have that they will recover their loses in 2019. As far as stop loss  is concerned, people do not use it properly in trading where stoploss is actually available and in gambling there is no such thing called Stop loss.  You can only control your loss if you limit yourself going all in , in gambling.

IMO we should not stick to main line of discussion about amount of loss. Maybe op is crypto whale who has more than 100 BTC?
Emotions are big factor in both trading&gambling but mastering yourself can be a exit for next possible loss. I cant see any feasible solution for those who has emotional bias in gambling. Even capacity of managing risk is limited when gambler faced with losing streak.

Having fun is priceless and I believe that during the time when you are playing with that 10 BTC you are having so much fun and you forgot time and forgot that you are already playing with 10 BTC. Yes.Set an amount first enough for you to gamble and don't expect much to make that amount duoble or triple because most of the time,losing happens.So if you're not brave enough to lose such amount,then do not gamble in the first place.Gambling is made to give fun and entertainment, and not as a means of living.Because if you do,you will surely regret in the end.
