Did you really deposit 10 bitcoins and lost all 10 or did you gamble with the same bitcoins over and over again, until you total bets last year was 10 bitcoins?

If I add together every single bet I made in 2018 I think I will get a high number also, but I only look at how much I can withdraw vs my deposit. On football gambling, my overall profit was a few hundred dollars.

For some people, gambling is shortcut to get money faster. Maybe that is why a lot of people suffer because they end with loses in gambling. From something that should make people fun and enjoy, be bad thing for others because other people will think gambling is bad.

10 Bitcoin is such a huge amount if I lose that kind amount I will have a sleepless night, but glad that you still can keep up with life, it's a hard lesson to learn that people should invest what they can afford to lose, but I guess you are too rich not to mind that 10 bitcoin

You can't have a strategy. it's useless.

I think it has, it is more like discipline not to be addicted to gambling, if you have discipline or self control then you will not lose huge money such as 10 BTC. But I guess 10 BTC loss is too much, it only means that the gambler don’t have both discipline when to quit or not and don’t have the right strategy.

I think it depends the gambling game. In sports betting, a serious gambler can have success by betting smartly, with discipline and technique.
There will be some losses on the way, as luck plays a role on this game, but it's possible for a professional to win on long run, managing the betting funds very well. But if after a year, the gambler has a negative balance of 10 btcs, I think it's time to stop or to start learning everything from beginning once again.

Making profit in gambling is possible, but the chances will not bigger than the loss because we as a gambler don't know when we can win. Gambling itself created for having fun, but unfortunately, people use gambling as a way to make money because they see that some people can get much money from gambling.

They forget that to win in gambling, and they must have luck and luck will not come in every time we played gambling. So if we heard someone had lost too much money in gambling, that person does not remember that he uses gambling for making money, which is very difficult to win the money. Actually, as I play gambling, I do have set my mindset not to aim on having a profit on it instead I just treated it as for fun only. I do not aim that much of winning because experience of playing is what matters most for me. Also, whenever you play gamble, you must be able to accept the fact that there are 2 possibilities that can always come, it is either a win or a loss. That is why I am just placing small bets so that even if I loss, I still can afford accepting my loss because it does not cost that much. Thats true, in gambling we dont know if we win or lose, because its based on our luck only. I think no one can win a big usually always lose. Gambling is for fun dont expect that you will earn profit. Its not bad to gamble if you have a discipline, but make sure that you do not lose that great amount.

You can use your strategy before you start to bet, it will different if there is someone who play gambling strategy or someone who play gambling just rely on luck. Well, first to OP was lost over 10 bitcoin how come that huge amount was lost maybe there is something of his mind chasing lost or he wanted to recover which turns to worst.
^ Yeah this is the right and that is the fact, every time you gamble you must set an amount that you can afford and hopefully not to lose but you wanted to win. Being self-oriented you can handle how to control your self of being greediness and think it over that you may come back in the next day if you feel that your not luck on that day.
