Op I clicked on the link you provided and I registered to see if their service is good and when I have finished the registration, I checked the interface and the exchange platform is not really encouraging to use. I don't know if the it is because of the first time which I don't know where to find the appropriate links. At first I was looking for my country currency so I can compare Bitcoin price to my fiat BTC/NGN but I couldn't.

The first stage of p2p then the last stage of Bitcoin government approve. Once government adopt Bitcoin then p2p will be strengthen. Now the peer to peer is not working very effectively because government is still restricting in their countries. And when government adopt Bitcoin and make it as a legal tender then Bitcoin will be the key investment of the country. And at that time we can use it to buy things of our choice.

Yeah it is true that in so many countries it is still legally not possible to buy real life products and services using crypto. but I heard many people doing that under the table. there are communities in such countries and small wonders who accept bitcoin for their services.
besides that you can buy online services and digital products with your bitcoin. 
it is funny that crypto is not legal in those countries but still those countries have huge number of crypto users. that proves that no one can control crypto. govt, banks. none.

No need to do this under the table. Ordinary P2P trade directly between people. No one except the two participants in the transaction will know what was purchased and for what amount.

Bitcoin doesn't have legal status in almost all countries, but at the same time it is not prohibited almost anywhere.

They are not trying, Bitcoin is already a legal tender in El Salvador.  
The Central African Republic also have Bitcoin as a legal tender, so you can use it as legal currency, and I saw several websites in EU, United States and Japan that openly accept Bitcoin payments.
In Turkey you can legally find small Bitcoin exchanges everywhere, you can even purchase stuff with BTC, and in Slovenia you can pay almost anything with Bitcoin and other crypto.

It is true what you say, most countries prohibit or impose restrictions on the use of Bitcoin, because it creates legal problems for users. However, the fact is that many transactions use Bitcoin, even though it is against the law, they don't care about it. Please note that everyone who takes risks in their work must have thought about it at the beginning.

I disagree about telling people to invest in potential ICOs. It's no longer a thing today and even if there will be some that still does it, you're just wasting your money finding one to invest with your money. And as for altcoins with solid communities, not all of them are worth to invest any buck.

This is way better of spending your crypto if you want to contribute to the ecosystem by spending your cryptos through giftcards from e-commerce websites. But it's still better if you ever find a website that offers services and allows direct acceptance of crypto and start that out from searching through having keywords first like 'crypto'.

I’ve used OpenSea for buying NFTs and Bitrefill to spend crypto on gift cards and other stuff. Both have been pretty reliable for me, but I always check reviews and do a bit of homework on sellers to avoid scams.

It sounds like you’re taking a nice approach by doing your research how i am not comfortable with both of the platforms on my personal reasons. I think both OpenSea and Bitrefill have their pros and cons and one should be cautious in the crypto space. You wll usually find higher rates at bitrefill but if you are willing to pay through bitcoin/crypto, you can use this site. On the other hand, i never interested in NFTs as they are dead investments and only you are lucky to get you purchased NFTs in trend.

Anyways regarding all the crypto sites the checking reviews and seller ratings can help you avoid potential scams. Have you had any specific expectational experiences that stood out to you while using those platforms?
