For some reason i am not seeing a "roaming folder" or anything that says wallet.dat in any of the folders that appear when I click on the fluttercoin folder...

 I am using windows 7 , to open it I run %appdata% which opens the roaming folder , where you can find the fluttercoin folder , in it you can find the wallet.dat after that this is the folder you delete Fluttercoin , not the whole roaming folder just the fluttercoin

my computer crashed the other night. Had the whole "would only load to black screen and cursor" thing happen. Pretty common and I have already fixed the error.

BUT, for some reason my Fluttercoin wallet will not open :/ the program keeps saying….. Assertion failed!   then at the bottom it says:

 Expression: pindex-> pprev || pindex->GetBlockHash() ==(!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNET)

someone PLEASE help me! I dont want to lose all my Flt Sad

First of all, fix your "noobiness". Seriously, if your PC constantly crashes, this is NOT normal, especially if it's a PC for dealing with MONEY. Such PC should be at least 99% stable. Second, the structure of every coin data folder is the same, learn how to backup your wallet or one day you could go cuckoo after loosing money due to a crash or an HDD/SDD failure. Do NOT repeat obvious mistakes!

In case anybody is wondering why the multipool announcement drove the price down:

1. People mine at multipools for an extra incentive like a bonus or a price draw and not to donate part of their profits. So most people probably thought the flutterpool will not get enough traction.
2. Unfortunately with multipools being launched everyday by other coins, saying you are launching beta in a week or so is being frowned upon.

i think whitecoin and blackcoin got a lot of of investment today. no worries, the people that make money there will buy on here. solid, long time veterans of this board had nothing but good things to say yesterday when they first heard about the coin. long term looks great, i'm accumulating more.  Smiley

I am holding 'cause I believe that PoT is a great idea and thekidcoin has proven to be extremely competent and responsive. The multipool buzz might die sooner rather than later with every other coin launching one, but for me FLT is a top 5 coin long term.

All multipools charge a fee, the donation is really just part of the fee.

Anyone who dumped their coins because something is frowned upon will be very sorry.  Since very few such pools exist that trade BTC for their own coin, I'm gonna call BS on that one.  BC's all share the same code hence easy to multiply.

It should also be frowned upon to essentially pre-mined (100% copy/paste coin with a few simple cosmetic updates and no innovation whatsoever) in that before anyone hears of it, it's closed for mining.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I am just explaining the average crypto-joes mentality these days.

I agree. But I also think the Whitecoin rally is going to go on for a few days or perhaps more. It's gonna move up and more and more will be pulling money out of other coins and jumping in.

WC was added to Cryptsy overnight. Most haven't heard yet (still 4 am in California) but that is going to cause a huge pop today, perhaps into the 10k plus territory.

FLT will gain momentum again, give it a week or so until these other coins calm down.

Should be an interesting weekend!
