What i know, KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many Hunter run away ! Why? Is it because people don't want review their identity for security reason or people are joining campaign with bot software ..
In my opinion one of the reasons is the fact that they can not use multiple accounts, although in all the campaigns are prohibited many use them

There are 2 main reasons.
1- Some bounty-hunters value their identity, but I think if you agreed to work with someone you should be okay sending them your BASIC information and if you think they are scammers then simply do not join them.
2- This is the real reason which is most Bounty-hunters are only farms of multi-accounting people so basically they hate KYC because they can't really pass it because they are cheaters. I audited a lot of spreadsheets before and the number of multi-account cheaters is crazy.
A basic KYC is okay and should not get anyone worry. And I see some Bounties started to apply basic KYC instead of Full KYC procedures.

I think that very few people have a positive attitude towards KYC . Sometimes this procedure takes a lot of time. In addition, I think that cryptocurrency should be anonymous.

This is because on most occasions projects use kyc to short change bounty hunters. Take for instance, I participated in the gcox project bounty earning 800+ tokens worth $800+ but I have been unable to claim my reward simply because I failed their kyc process even though I submitted the correct documents and did everything right. This is just one of several such cases. When projects want to be funny in terms of rewarding bounty hunters, they introduce kyc which in truth reduces the chances of them paying out the entire allocation.

I think that in most cases, many people refuse to bounty the company if they have to pass the KYC, as many do not want to put themselves in danger. I do not think that for bounty hunters who own multiple accounts, it will be difficult to pass the extra KYC.

There are two (2) reasons I have in mind about why Bounty Hunters don't want KYC.
1. PRIVACY and SECURITY - Since KYC was really intended for customers and not for bounty hunters, they want to remain anonymous as much as possible for security reasons.
2. MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS - Some scammers and cheaters don't want it because they will be disqualified and will be banned from the bounty.

I agree, leaving your documents exposes you also to the risk that they arrive in the hands of criminals, so in order to be used for criminal purposes. it is often not easy to understand the real intentions of a project: is it scam or not scam?

Exactly, I have the same question. Mostly all ours identies are in the web. All corporations are selling our data. I think mostly bounty hunters are afraid to send their documents to scam projects.

Kyc itself is not a bad thing but the way the devs and bounty managers are using it is inimical to the original idea of Kyc itself, bounty hunters need to verify every project before joining in order to avoid cheating in bounty by aid of Kyc

i think, the are too afraid if their information misused by other people. some people say if no information about people that use crypto, is saver than if someone put their data information on crypto. but im sure, if all of country accept and tradable in every market, it need kyc to keep save. for government or people

Obviously, most bounty hunters hate revealing their identities and they take care of their privacy. The most important feature of cryptocurrencies generally is the anonymity so it is not the case when you are obliged to complete a KYC in order to get your bounty rewards.

We cant blame the bounty hunters for hating KYC because they all believe there no reason for them to do the KYC since they are not an investors but the adverstiser of the project and most of the bounty hunters believed some of the project owners abuse the KYC/AML act in someways. However, there alot of statement which were made about KYC data linkage.

Even me I don't want KYC for the promoting project I don't want to spread my identity specially if you didn't know that project was scam and and they are using your identity to the other project because I've also experience that so that is why I don't like also the KYC. They want to protect and secure their privacy and their I dentity.

DO you think it makes sense to have a token of $5 and undergo KYC to collect that information, the rate fo abuse by some of these developers is very high, I observed personally that after I joined some KYC in ICO, I discovered that the level of spam ICO investment ICO that I received in my mail box increaed signifiant

Let me share my experience, most of the bounties I have participated in that require KYC did not pay me. They will give an excuse that your documents did not match what they expect, some even turn out to be scam. So it means they will take your information for nothing... That's y most bounty hunters run away from KYC.

Why would you give your identity to anonymous projects if you are doing an airdrop or a bounty for some $. Those who do not want to give their identity can chose from plenty of projects which do not ask for KYC. KYC is a must to be done only for STOs.

if i just a bounty hunter, i don't want to give my identity to any projects. it would be bad and it has a high risk. maybe the project will become a scam projects and use our documents for a bad activities. i'm better choose the other project that don't need a KYC for bounties.

I don't hate it, because I am an honest bounty hunter. There is nothing to fear about KYC, although there are concerns about data security so far there have been no cases or bad facts about data security. so, there is no problem.

There is nothing wrong with Kyc because this will help the process of verification to find out whether they are fake or not. this is great for reducing thieves in the bounty
