What i know,  KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many  Hunter run away  ! Why? Is it
I really think that KYC is a good thing if the project is also good. KYC has being done for the security and to abide some laws. But if you think that the project is not worth your risk of your identity, then don't pass KYC. Be careful because some of those projects uses it for their own purposes.

Live for the moment.

Reasons why hunters hate KYC
1. Most hunters live in third world countries where national IDs are not available
2. Getting an international passport is expensive for them
3. ICO projects may fail to mention it to them during the campaign and so hunters may not be prepared for it
4. Some hunters are skeptical about releasing their private info to ICOs for fear of breaches and identity thefts
5. Some hunters do multiple accounts for the bounty (which is usually against the rules) so KYC is a barrier for getting their tokens from the different accounts

I think the main thing people does job online is because you don't expose your identity
Somehow when you work and your identity is exposed online, its a threat towards you yourself

Hence i always believe KYC should be done, however it depends on who you pass your KYC to

because not everyone wants to tell their identity for a bounty that doesn't necessarily have value.
for me personally KYC is of no use for bounty hunters who only have a small portion of their tokens.

If the value from the bounties is worth commensurate with KYC, I think it's okay. but now, a lot of bounties are not worth it so if you do KYC just to get a few cents, I'd better leave it.
currently there are many ico projects that apply KYC to bounty hunters and also many of them fail and in the end your identity has been taken and you get nothing  Huh Cry. that's why bounty hunter hate KYC. Angry

Simply because bounty hunters don't want their identity to spread online. They are just hunters and not Ico investors so they still have the right to hate Kyc. Kyc as a bounty requirement is quite risky because we all know that our identity could spread or could be steel online.

yes, unless the project is really good and truly real, KYC will be comparable, but most projects today are fraudulent so bounty hunters don't want their identities to be given to people they don't know.

I do not like to send my documents to any sites. It seems to me that this could be dangerous. That is why I do not like KYS.

I don't think bounty hunter hate KYC. They afraid of KYC because their information can be sold if it's a scam project. Beside there are so many cheaters in this forum so it's very hard for a single person to complete KYC for so many accounts to get reward from bounty campaign Smiley)

if that is the reason then he will never know he will get money or not. because we know that there are several projects that ask for kyc at the beginning, if the bounty hunter is not sure about the project, he won't get their money. there is no problem with kyc, those who do not like kyc are those who commit fraud in participating in bounties, therefore, many cannot provide information themselves.

I think many people are afraid to submit their personal data because there are many ICO scammers and fear that their data submitted is misused by others

I think so too. It seems to me that people stopped trusting each other. In addition, it seems to me that KYC is contrary to the principle of cryptocurrency anonymity.

There is nothing wrong with the KYC procedure itself, but if the bounty Manager decides to introduce this requirement at the end of the campaign then it is very similar to fraud on his part(or on the part of the project)

Because there are cases when the documents of hunters got to the network without their knowledge. KYC should be held by those who invest, bounty hunters do not invest anything and pass this procedure for them does not make sense.

What most people here don't know, those KYC services do usually locate in countries with low data privacy standards. Some services even do not provide information where they are located. No one gurantees that data is not sold. I know from dark net forums that data from KYC processes can be bought there. Those data usually contain name and address, often passport and bill photos. Data from users coming from industrial countries are more worth than data from other countries.

So the chance that your personal data is offered in those despicable sources is high. And nobody knows who buy the data and for which use cases they are used. I personally have never conducted a KYC and I'll never do one for bounties or airdrops.

As a bounty hunter I wouldn't release my identity for a token its very obvious that the rewards for the hunters is nothing to write home about thus I feel its not reasonable to release my identity in the name of KYC by doing so I may a victim of scam.

Why do hunters have to go through it? They do not invest anything, only their work. I think this another way to not pay reward participants.

Indeed, I believe that there is no justice, especially when such low payments. You need to understand that the passage is not easy.

Now, as you say, with KYC, this can reduce payments to some gifted participants who do not qualify while conducting KYC, I also think so because bounty hunters are not investors, they only promote projects, they should not be obliged to do KYC Cases to reduce fraud. ok but still I don't agree with KYC.
