Why Bounty Hunters Hate KYC !!!

Even i dont want that KYC. Why? Because i dont want to give my personal infos to a project that i do not know cause they migjht use my info to scam or even worst as that.

not all bounty hunters hate kyc .  like for example me , im also a bounty hunter but i like the purpose of kyc because i see that kyc can help out filter the abusers from the legit one's ( investors/bounty & airdrop participants )  while at the same time kyc owners or the company can protect them selve's against  ilegality  . they did also protect the consumer or the investor against money laundering act/law  .  that's few of what i learn from a kyc  .

I guess I can still be considered a bounty participant, but maybe no longer a hunter because I gave up all the work more than a year ago, deleted all my FB and Twitter content and don't even log on anymore. I'm still on a signature campaign but I'm hoping it's long term and never need to give it up, and I'm happy to promote the service for as long as I use it.

But yeah, like you, I'm not against KYC just for the sole purpose of hating KYC. I personally feel if I'm gambling and giving business to people, they shouldn't need to verify me, but sure, if the business needs to do it to comply with the law, what can I say?

Everyone bounty hunter has the right to refuse those KYC implementations because they know that hacking is very rampant in the internet. Even facebook gets down because of hackers so it's very risky to hand out your documents to people you don't know who has it. I know in twitter campaign, there are a lot of fake participants but managers can fix it even without KYC.

This is one of the reasons make all the bounty hunters to be afraid of giving out their details.People say we all are giving legit details and when we are legit no need to panic for doing it but people can abuse our data for crimes so we don't have to give our details to someone online.

Man cryptocurrencies are anonymous by default, Why do they need our personal data anyway ? In cryptocurrency sphere where 80% of ICO  are scam you have to be cautious who you give your ID especially when you will get small amount $ for that. Think about it.

No one hates KYC and if you have not cheated any bounty, it is not hard to do KYC. The main problem is that most of the ICO are scams and we never know that the documents we send to them, they might use it in scams or illegal means. For me, if someone proofs that the ICO is not a scam and they will not leak our documents, i am Ok to send them.

Indeed there are many people avoiding KYC, as you say because they want to protect their identity for security. The average person who is in Crypto is a person who really maintains their identity for security, because crypto is still vulnerable to misuse of identity so many people are afraid of their identity being misused. Moreover, there are many ICO whose status is unclear and end with a scam, so it is very risky to share their identity on KYC.

It is indeed not a good idea to submit your KYC to ICO or other non-trusted sites. I have been known that few of the companies sell our KYC on the dark web and criminals can abuse our legal documents in any way and we would have no control over it.
I mostly avoid the KYC to be on the safe side and do not risk for few dollars.

Without KYC it is not possible for the company to distribute the coins, now most of the companies are asking for KYC in order to get our tokens. That's why it is always good to join in bounty which company is not asking for KYC. Bounty people don't want to share their identity with the unknown users.

Maybe because they don't have any valid id's or it could be they are criminal or what. But for me as a bounty hunters its fine for me to submit it according to their requirements. There's nothing wrong with when it comes to that matter. And KYC is top prevent cheaters and scammer something like that.

The problem with handling KYC to 3rd-parties is that you dont know what they are going to do with the data collected. Especially that some require a passport ID

i know that KYC is a confirmation of your current place you are living so that they know if the coin will be given to you.
some bounty hunters dont have the requirements for the KYC thats why sometimes they lose hope on getting their coin .

For me, the identity that we have must not be known by what we may not know and what to do !! obviously with the presence of Kyc, I will obviously avoid it. because obviously I don't want our identity to be misused later. and no one can guarantee that identity will not be misused. I will always avoid kyc.

Probably both, but the thought that there is a big possibility that your sensitive information will go through the black market will cause a big fear even for those honest bounty hunters if there is no such fear then bounty hunters are obliged to go through KYC verification.

I don't like to pass KYC as it takes a long time and I don't understand why the developers my data . Cryptocurrency in General is created as an anonymous means of calculation, and then offer to send a scan of the passport or Bank statement.

I hate kyc cause some of the bounty campaigns you need to provide kyc but in the end when you already done submitting the project will become worthless, you only submitted your kyc to a scam ico.
