Decentralized exchanges the future of 2019?

In my opinion, high-quality decentralized exchanges may well save the situation, because all large and large exchanges require paying huge fees for listing tokens, which does not allow a huge number of projects to enter the market, but decentralized exchanges may have liquidity problems.

But it will help scam projects to make money more easily. I do not believe much in decentralized exchanges because most of them are normal projects and do not have a big deal from big exchanges. If you want a good development project, then choose the top exchanges

Adoption of decentralized exchanges will see an all time high in 2019, cross chain decentralized trading and atomic swaps will start to become the norm

a true decentralized exchange provides many benefits:

• No need to give up control of your funds
• Censorship resistant orderbook
• Impossible to hack
• No concerns of fake volume and manipulation

This week Binance CEO CZ recommended people store their crypto on reputable exchanges... but what is reputable? If you do not have your private key, well then can you really call it crypto?

What are your thoughts? Will 2019 be the year of DEX?

Not only 2019, the future years will be the years of DEX. There are reports that our identity informations are being sold on the darknet for a few days. The only way to prevent identity theft is DEX exchanges.

In my opinion there will be a high demand of decentralized exchanges in the year 2019. Peoples don't like manipulations and fake volume.
Also the problems with centralized exchanges of being hacked, stolen funds or required KYC.

I agree that we need more decentralized exchange in 2019. It does bring in some relief to the investor. We have seen exchanges closing down, being hacked and people losing their hard earned money. It's sad to see that we keep improving on the new coins/platforms but our development in trading/exchange platform is kinda slow. Recent attack on Cryptopia was a sad thing for many. The tweet from Binance guy, I think he kinda didn't out his thoughts together while sending the Tweet. Bottom line is if you don't own the private key to your wallet, it isn't considered as secured, period.

I think Vitalik remark about centralized exchange was largely exaggerated, without those we wouldn’t be even here since as today theres still no DEX that has event 20% of the CEX volumes.

BINANCE DEX, should come out this year and be finally a great competitor in the space and offer more liquidity and security of any DEX launched before!

I am agreed with you. As long as we are not holding any private keys, we are not the owner of our funds. We should use Decentralized exchange and I can see a better future  of Decentralized exchange. People will use decentralized exchange more than the centralized because centralized exchange are getting worst day by day.

Exchange for 2019 can be improved about security systems. Because if the exchange has a large cost and does not have good security, of course, it will also harm many people. DEX will ever get most of trading, but this will not be so quickly. Many do not want to learn into how it works, they do not like the low liquidity of these exchanges. Most newbies will most likely come for centralized exchanges. Crypto literacy does not come quickly.

I would like to hope that in 2019 decentralized exchanges will continue to grow. I like working for them much more than on ordinary exchanges.
I like the fact that decentralized platforms leave users with full control over their funds, orders and data, and at the same time full responsibility for their actions.

in the future these Decentralized exchanges will grow and many will create platforms like this, because with Decentralized technology and implemented at the exchange it will make security higher and certainly does not cost much to create such a platform because buyers and sellers can interact directly with his wallet directly.

Hey, you should not follow anyone's tips, no matter who, if you do not have your private keys, you do not have your coins or even tokens! The DEXs started appearing in 2017, at least the idea was well spread and since then there are jobs to actually become DEXs, without a federated gateway, there is no real DEX! Even with the true DEXs it is worth the premise that the most important thing is you have access to your private keys and not show it to anyone.

This is primarily due to the protection against numerous hacker attacks and greater security of users who prefer to store their coins on the exchange. But it is worth remembering that it does not give you 100% protection and it is best to keep your coins on a cold wallet.

Decentralized exchanges are slower than centralized if you noticed this. I don't know how they are doing it when they can afford fast servers.  Since the time from bitshares, openledger up to the time where etherdelta was up, its all slow that I have to move to my laptop just to see how much is the price of the token that isn't listed somewhere else but to such DEX. I'm not sure if its going to be the future, its unregulated and the government hates it. The government sets the rules by which the market functions.
