Bitcoin price still staying at $3500 to $3700 and still affordableforthose who are still planning to buy the coin. Many are hoping that the market this year will be better than last year where most of the months are in bearish trend. I'm not expecting a 2017-like bullrun this year but I think there are still short uptrends coming in the days ahead. Bitcoin and other leading altcoins are still poised for some short term growth this year.

Yes, its worth investing for. They called it bubble but for the past 10years bitcoin are able to survive and keep on making good prices. If you don’t listen to those people who said its bubble last 2014, then you might be living in a much better life now. In contrast to me, prices are currently relatively low. and we will get more coins with the same amount of funds. besides that I think mid-year prices have started to climb, and allow us to get fewer coins

I think you can start buying affordable coins right now with great potentials and then hold them.If luckily a bull run will appear in the following months,then its time to sell your coins and definitely gain huge profits.But still the best decision lies in you.Think a hundred times until you will know exactly whats the best thing for you to do.Do not be afraid to take risks because success only comes to those who bravely take the risks.

I've always been watching bitcoin since mid-2013 up to now, and the market/bubble is painfully toxic. I'm not a big investor or economist, and I probably still only have superficial knowledge on how the entire blockchain systems work.

I just patiently watch the graph, and keep telling myself not to invest because everyone tells me it's a giant bubble that will someday pop. Recently, I started to run a few side businesses dealing in Bitcoin as payment methods, but I've never stored it long term and always converted it to cash.

I remember back in 2014 when I first thought of investing in Bitcoin as a long-term investment, and obviously was pressured out of it because everyone kept thinking it was a bubble that was about to burst. I'm starting to think about it again now that Bitcoin is starting to crash - and generally speaking in the past it's done quite well after crashes, recovering and increasing every once in a while.


What do you guys think? Is it worth it to give it a try? This would be my second crypto investment, and I'd be throwing in $5-10,000 at most. Any ideas?

$5,000 to $10,000 investment is good if you are going to give it a try with Bitcoin. Todays prices  are way cheaper compared
to previous prices. It is still worth it if you will give it a  try much better if you will diversify  like buy Bitcoin in half and buy trusted Altcoins  if you want. I also converted mine into cash as I need it most. I use it for top ups and paying bills. If only I am wealthy I will surely buy and hoard for future purposes.

Don't underestimate short term investors. Most of them are pretty happy to sell 10-20% higher, which there have been several opportunities for in the last couple of months, and that's just buy low sell high.

If you also take into consideration the traders who sell 1-5% higher, you'll realize that they are doing a much better job than those who are firmly hodling, which I am part of as well, so there are always two sides to a story.

What is my opinion is just give for some more time for your investment because if anything will not change in this year also how investment will not moving forward that's why wait for sometime and make a good decision before investment.

looks like this is a good year for crypto. so buy bitcoin now and get profit in 2019. I predict that the market will not fall again this year, even though the movement will be slightly slower than 2017.

Well we do not know if it won't fall again because those who invest in lower value are waiting for increase and ready to gain profit even small amount than holding it foe long time waiting for total recovery. The history oh bitcoin value journey teach us that there was ups and downs. Few weeks ago I saw a chart with bitcoin top prices at the end of specific year and it looks like every second year it is decreasing in value and opposite, every second is increasing. That was the look so far, will it keep that trend, we don`t know but I honestly hope so. When taking just that observation as value criterion, you might try with investment. There is real risk of loosing funds so I always like to suggest not to invest amount that will mean so much to you. If you are capable to earn that amount in some decent time back by working daily job and repairing the potential loss, you should go for it.

It's your decision to invest in bitcoin or not because that is your money. But if you think that bitcoin can increase in the long-term, I think it's worth to invest in bitcoin, and I think it's enough to use $5-$10,000 but make sure you can buy at a low price and never buy all in one price.

It's good if you can have a business and use bitcoin as the payment and if you still prefer with fiat, then I think what you did before to convert into fiat after you receive bitcoin was a great idea so you can buy more bitcoin when the price is down.

Since you are watching  the market for a long time you know the answer you are looking for, after every rally there will be a time when the market goes down and it will go down drastically and it will take a couple of years to recover after every crash, if you go by that standard this is the best time to invest in bitcoin and wait for a couple of years so that the market recovers and attains another all time high and make sure you exit at the right time. A good entry and a good exit are always important in any form of investment.
