After participating in several ICO project, which turned out to be scam projects. My hard earned money disappeared in to thin air, with no way to trace or recover my money back. I had to act like it never happened to get it off my mind and move on.

With this market, eventually supposedly good ICO's cannot survive that's why they exit and will turned to scam. Those projects are the ones who have no experience on how to survive on this bearish market.

No, I don't think so, ICO haven't dead yet and I think maybe you don't have research everything before investing the project, I think you're not suitable ICO investment, it's better to wait and direct buy on exchange after ICO end to avoid scam project.

Some ICO just don't get enough funds now a days, the project you have supported didn't get it too. If they are not fraud they should be able to refund investors but if I'm to assume were not refunded to which you can say you are robbed. Its not surprising in this crypto winter season. There ain't nothing you can do but about it anymore but post a warning to all.

I don't think that icos is dead. Cause still there have lot of good icos. We just need to search them and need to study about them.

Yes because there is less way of trust and invest on ICO. Lot of people have lost their investment and now they are not willing to invest. I think STO will be the future of fund raising.

Not all ICO's are dead and there are still good ICO's who have great potential in the future and will help many people. Even some people are now not interested in ICO's still it will not die easily so I think there will be more ICO's the next few years.

I do, but just to make sure to invest in the promising ico. We know that the market condition is not supporting the demand to ico but remember when there was a big bullish trend and then whole of icos have been getting a huge demand. Which ico that you have participated in? If you have participated into the some big icos like zilliqa and it gives you a huge money because i do that.

It isn't dead but the amount of people invest on the ICOs drastically reduced in 2018 from 2017 just because of lot of projects are scam or giving worthless token.But still people finding some good projects among those 1000 new projects released by deep research.

Not all of them abandoned their project, they are still up to do an ICO, they just postponed it and ended their bounty campaign.  I keep a list of ICO this year and found at least two that I tried supporting are still up to continue, they are promoting their project everyday still yet told their supporters they'd go do their ICO or IEO when the market bounce back. But I think these are just words they telling but most probably don't have plans to pay bounty participants.

Technically one could say yes ICO are dead, there is a significant drop in the number of people willing to release their funds to these projects recently and people prefer to trade then invest in these projects, another thing to consider now is the hype going on around STOs, if STOs get things right no one would invest in ICO again because I would rather have a part of a company than hold on to a token with virtual usecase

Never invested to ICOs, I'm sorry for all of your ICOs you just invested at the wrong time.

I think there's still some ICO for this year but it wasn't the same as year 2017 and earlier. Why not practice trading? use the experience that you've been with and apply it with trading, it's worth to try with the affordable amount to lose.

Icos are not dead, they are just weak at the moment considering the number of scams we have come across

Ico are dead, investors have stopped throwing their money at fake team. If you observe a lot of ico couldn't raise softcap for almost a year since they have started ico it is a sign that the days of ico are gone the new term is STO

No, I don't think all ICOs are dead. Currently, there are many ICOs that reached the hard cap And many ICOs are able to at least reach soff cap. The number of these successful ICOs is still relatively small compared to 2017, but still market have a lot of successful ICO
