After participating in several ICO project, which turned out to be scam projects. My hard earned money disappeared in to thin air, with no way to trace or recover my money back. I had to act like it never happened to get it off my mind and move on.

Are ICOs really dead and do you still invest in ICO projects?

Now it is almost impossible to find a high-quality ICO. Therefore, I am not in a hurry with choosing a project for investment. I have to study dozens of projects every week, and if I have even the slightest doubt about the profitability of a project, I don’t invest in it. It helps me save money.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

At the moment, investment in ICO projects is very dangerous. But I think that this industry will begin to recover at a time when the cryptocurrency market goes up.

There is no way Icos are really dead but the truth is a lot of people are smarter and wiser about how they invest their money and refused to just give projects that money without tangible evidence of something concrete in development or something good as in return for their investment.
so now a lot more is being asked of projects that are hoping to use the crowd funding platform of the ico to fund their project development.
There has to be working product which has to be usable and viable especially to the normal everyday user and not just a project that is full of  technical talks and no real value.

over the past year, a lot of projects have died due to the protracted fall.crypto currency, but still there are projects that continue to work and make a profit, there are very few such companies, but still they are and I believe that in the future there will be only the strongest and this is very good for all of us.

Yes they are all dead. It is now very pointless participating in anyone. The project will not be able to reach even softcap and the next thing you will hear is that they are discontinuing the token  sales and the project.

The success of BitTorrent suggests that ICOs can be very profitable, despite the negative situation around these projects. You just have to carefully select the project and study it thoroughly in order to avoid buying tokens of the next scam project.

That's right, now most of the ICO projects are fraudulent and investing your money there you will lose them.
And among the remaining honest ICOs, few people are able to collect the necessary amount of investment due to falling prices in the crypto market.

I agree that there is a decline now and the popularity of cryptocurrency is suspended. But it is temporary. Volatility and instability is sometimes useful and necessary! I think that will change soon

All market participants need more positives and believe in the growth of the cryptocurrency market. Soon the market will be restored and we will see a new branch of the cryptocurrency sphere.

No, of course the projects aren't dead yet.At the moment I stopped investing.Last year, there were a lot of investments-now we are waiting for the result. And the fact that you have not properly invested, you should not be upset, just extract a lesson from this.

It seems to me that this is not only about those projects that did not receive any real opportunities for their development after the end of the ico company. Indeed, despite the more or less good results of the ico company, the coins after entering the stock exchange still fall in value even for popular projects that should have good prospects. Perhaps because of this, many investors left the ico market for companies and preferred to buy coins on the stock exchanges.

ICOs aren’t dead, but 99% or them are scams. So basically, ICOs are a cancer to this space...

I do not agree with you, yes there are scams out there but not nearly 99%

Lot of projects fail due to lack of funding and drop in price.

This isn't necessary bad thing, because bad projects will die off in the process.

there are still big ICOs that ended recently, It just demand alot of research and experience. Experience is showing a lot of difference in the space even with choice of ICOs to invest. I dont believe there is no victim of failed or scam ICOs in the past 2 years most especially for an active investors, it might just be lower for experienced investors.

Yes, the ICO is dying. And they die from a large number of scammers who divorced. But this is not quite the end. "ICO" go to "STA". Only instead of tokens, there are stocks, I advise you to look.

I think this situation around the ICOs market is happening due to the poor market conditions. When market will turn bullish, I would suggest that there would be even more ICOs than during 2017 and 2018 all together.

at this time the ICO was in an unhealthy condition, many ICOs stopped their sales because they saw the red market. I have never invested in ICO. I don't want to take too much risk.

In 2018 there were very few successful projects. I think that investing in ICOs  should be stopped for some time because it is unprofitable.

I think that at the moment it is necessary to avoid ICO, since investing in them was previously quite a risky way to make money, and now the picture is generally very sad.
