The prediction is coming too early. The entire ICO system need an overhaul. There is need to redirect the founders to focus on society oriented projects and also tame scammers.

Your post makes no sense. What does bitcoin halving have to do with ICOs? Do you even know what ICO is?
And dumping of tokens has no relation with the project. A project will be successful if the developers actually work on it and continues to do so after the ICO. Most of them fail cause they are nothing but to take away investors money.

ICO period is about to come to an end. Even some projects that are currently in place are already trying STO. If the STO is successful, the trust issue of the ICOs will be resolved. And serious projects will prefer STO.

ICO in my opinion will still be relevant, but not all will work out well.
Considering the way things are unfolding, most of the ICOs we will lunch in the crypto space, will be those that are ready to add value and to give something unique.
It now looks like most investors are beginning to identify the right projects to invest in, which is why scam ICOs are now failing.

maybe, I see in 2020 there was a big surprise for bitcoin. You know halving, this can be a moment for big pumps and if seen from past experience halving can make the market rise by more than 1000%. so 2020 is a moment that is very much awaited for bitcoin holders before bitcoin reaches total supply.

Well, what now exists in the form of ico, I think can die very soon, many projects are moving to ios, and large exchanges help I think by 2020 will not be ico projects

There is a feeling, not without thorough. That one wave of ICO will undoubtedly pass. Maybe a short but still need quality projects. And a lot of ideas gathered during such a lull.

Your argument here seems obvious, it is just like saying we will have rainfall in Amazon area by July, we all know halving do have positive impact on the price of BTC, but to say BTC halving would impact the ICO market is a wrong assumption because for me i don't think I want to invest in just any project they way it was in 2017, which helps to drive the market up and most people lost their investment doing so. We have more than months to next halving and for me it is too early to start the debate now

I agree with you. It is wrong to draw a parallel line with the number of BTC and ICO. Now the investment is in projects that have already proven themselves. Investors prefer a slow but steady profit than constantly burning themselves on investing in scam projects.

I agree that 2020 will be a good year for new projects. But I think that STOs will change traditional ICOs in the near future. When the market will recover, new projects will continue enter the market for raising funds.
