I was surprised to see the batting of Islamabad United team players. I saw Islamabad United maybe 60 runs in 6 overs but from there they mustered only 138 runs in 20 overs what happened to them. Apart from Alex Hales and Agha Salman, nobody could put in a consistent batting performance for Islamabad United today.Alex Hales was on fire but could not sustain his batting performance in the end as he was dismissed for 21 off nine balls. Islamabad United lost their first match maybe today also we are going to see Islamabad United lose their third match.

The match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka is over and Sri Lankan lost the game by just 3 runs. 19 runs were required in the last over and Sri Lankans were only able to make 15 in the last over. It was an entertaining game where both teams were able to score over 200 runs. Zazai and Gurbaz gave Afghanistan a good opening stand of 88 runs and runs kept coming even after the departure of the openers. Wao Quetta Gladiator registered his third consecutive victory with a decent net runrate after a long time in PSL, no doubt sarafaz done a good job for his team, through his captaincy skills they won PSL trophy back in 2019 but from recent years his team perform quite worst and later after new captain Rossow and some potential players trade and some quality picks really blow them up and now Quetta were in list of one of strong side of PSL hope they will make huge difference due to Amir.
Anyway looking to the scoreboard Islamabad United didn't scored enough in order to defend no doubt thier bowler try hard and get handsome number of wickets too but unfortunately unable to divert results in thier favour, in my mind if they scored 170 around them definitely with Naseem magical deliveries they will get that match

A thrilling win for Afghanistan, a consolidatory too. Sri Lanka won the only test, clean swiped ODIs and was about to clean swipe the T20 too.
It was a high scoring innings from Afghanistan with Hazaratulla and Rahmanulla opening the batting with a good partnership. Sri Lanka nearly chased it but the retirement due to injury to Pathum Nissanka was a bad luck for them. He had scored 60 off 30 before voluntarily leaving the crease.
Anyway, Sri Lanka won't be disappointed as they had shown full dominance over the Afghan team and Afghan have reasons for their decreasing performance.

Sri Lanka came close to winning the T20 series, but it was Afghanistan who secured the victory, ending their tour on a high note. Hazaratulla and Rahmanulla provided a strong start, paving the way for the win. It's a positive end to Afghanistan's tour of Sri Lanka, and hopefully, it signals a resurgence for the team.

I would not say that Sri Lanka played very badly in this series. Sri Lankan team players tried hard to get good results in this series, but all their efforts were failed by Afghanistan team players. However, in all three matches of this series, Sri Lankan team players played competitive games with Afghanistan team players. If the Sri Lankan team could have been a little more diligent, they could have taken the result in their favour. But I think the Sri Lankan team players have achieved a lot from this series. I am hopeful that Sri Lankan team players will be able to change themselves a lot in future.

WPL Starts Today

Not a big fan of WPL but can't stop thinking about the celebrities that will be performing before the first game. BCCI wants this year's WPL to be bigger than IPL 2024. Shahrukh Khan will be performing with a few other Bollywood heroes in this year's inaugural ceremony of WPL. I would love to see an IPL franchise owner like Shahrukh Khan perform in the inaugural ceremony of IPL 2024.
