At one point i thought the match was done and dusted but Mahmudullah-Jaker Ali duo changed the tide. Now it's Bangladesh's game to lose, I hope they cross the line for a change.

Bangladesh top order failed to score runs today and majority of runs were scored by Mahmudullah and Jaker Ali. Bangladesh could have won the match if there top order had played there part. Jaker Ali was too good with bat today, it was his 4th T20I and he scored 68 runs. Jaker Ali was unlucky to lose his wicket in last over and that was turning point of the game. We have a good interesting end of this first game with both teams give their best till last ball and at the end we have better team as winner even there was good chance for the Bangladesh to win this game but Dusan Shanaka done good job and have won for his team Mahmudullah and Jaker Ali both were at his best, but their finishing was not good as required specially last wicket of the Jaker Ali in last over give good booster to Sri Lanka for the win veteran Angelo Mathews is also doing good after his comeback in this format and most chances he could be important for them in coming world cup as well.

Bangladesh is also doing good with these youngsters, and they need experience which will give them chance of improvement and quality will surely bring good results in coming years, hopefully selectors will keep faith and give them more chances.

I agree with you. Santo is quite an experienced cricketer. He is now the captain of the Bangladesh team. He should not be batting like such a fool. Because the target was 207 runs. More than 10 runs per over was required. Shanta batted about 4 overs (22 balls), but scored only 20 runs. If he had not wasted so many balls, maybe Bangladesh would have won today's match.

The weakness of Bangladesh's top order is still not gone. We have seen Liton and Hridoy batting brilliantly in the BPL. But in today's match both of them batted badly. Yes indeed Bangladesh performed very well but lost by 3 runs. If Zaker Ali had not been caught out in the last over when 12 runs were needed to win, Bangladesh might have won this match today. I agree Islamabad United didn't start well but their middle order batsmen did a good job and scored 196 runs. Peshawar Zalmi struggled  really well but unfortunately they didn't chase the target and made only 167 runs in 20 overs and lost 9 wickets. Shadab Khan was really good in this match. First he made 81 runs and in bowling he also collected 3 wickets. He is also the player of the match. Congratulations to IU.

WPL: RCB vs UPW

Smriti is like Virat of women's RCB, when she plays good, you know there is good score on cards, and that's exactly what happened as RCB made 198 runs with 80 runs of Smriti's bat. I must also praise Perry here, she played responsible while Smriti was playing aggressive and when Smriti got out, Perry started playing aggresive herself and made fifty.

One would feel sad Smriti didn't make a century but she had been given 3 three free lives  in her 80 run inning so I guess it's alright.

Another player i'm impressed with is Richa Ghosh, she took one an impressive wk catch of Grace Harris and some of her shots were treat to watch, shots I judge from last 3 matches watched, not just yesterday's match.

Chasing UPW didn't get thrashed as I expected them to be, they lost game by 23 runs, I feel it'd have been better for them had other batters played bit responsible when Healy was on crease as Perry played along with Smriti.
