Barisal team truly deserves this year's BPL title. Their performance in the group stage matches was also quite good. Barisal also performed well in the previous match against Rangpur in the knockout round. Tamim Iqbal was in good form throughout the BPL. He played an excellent innings of 39 runs from 26 balls in today's match as well. A good start from Tamim-Miraz made it easy for Fortune Barisal to win the match.

I already made a prediction two hours before the start of the game that Fortune Barishal team will win today, and at the end of the day it happened. But Comilla Victorians played well throughout the league anyway today I will say that apart from their top order batsmen from whom I expected responsible performance none of them performed well like Liton Das, Moeen Ali, Touhid Hriday.
But from Fortune Barishal team from whom I expected good performance like Tamim Iqbal, Kyle Mayers they did fairly well but I was disappointed with Mushfiqur Rahim's performance because he lost more balls and got out with less runs. Anyway, congratulations to the Barisal team for finally being able to achieve them.

Comilla Victorians gave a target of 155 runs to Fortune Barishal in the final of BPL. Excellent final over from Saifuddin helped FB to restrict CV under 160. Russell looked dangerous, but the last over was too good from Saifuddin. He conceded 7 runs in that over. Overall, a commending bowling performance from the FB bowlers. Victorians should have sent Russell up the order before Jaker Ali for those extra 20 or 30 runs they are desperately lacking.

You can't say the target was just big enough from Comilla. You know, in the final of the BPL they should definitely have given a bigger target.
Another thing is, you know they don't have very strong bowling lineup, so you cannot defend a target of 155 when you do not have a very good bowling lineup. and that's exactly what happened. Tamim must be very happy .

Barisal's bowlers have done very well in the last two matches. Barisal's batting order is strong, but their bowlers' performances have been erratic. But in the last two matches against Rangpur and Comilla, Barisal's bowlers performed well. Rangpur had given a target of 150 runs only, and today the Comilla team had given a target of 155 runs.

Barisal's top three batsmen have batted very well. Tamim scored 39 runs, Miraz scored 29 runs and Mayers scored 46 runs. Barisal team reached the target of victory by losing 4 wickets. It was no defendable target unless GG bowlers did some miracle which of course didn't happen, nonetheless GG had bit chance to come back when they got quick wickets of Athapaththu and Sehrawat but Grace Harris soon took things back to UPW's hands and made fifty for herself as well, giving UPW a comfortable win with 6 wickets and 26 balls remaining.

I completely agree that Saifuddin last over was important in Fortune Barisal winning against Comilla Victorians. Many people didn't expect it but Saifuddin did well under pressure. By the way that was unexpected and the performance of Fortune Barisal was really well. They deserve the winning. The match was really exciting.

If the Comilla Victorians team could have performed well by protecting the wicket from the start, then there was definitely a chance of winning this match. But they did not give good batting performance, basically Liton Das and Tawheed Hridiya were in batting form, they performed well in other matches but did not perform well in this match. Especially the bowling performance of Comilla Victorians team is also bad, already Fortune Barisal team has won the trophy with good bowling and batting performance. Barisal team players are smart and experienced they came at the last minute and won based on intelligence and strategy.

At one stage Karachi Kings are ahead of Quetta Gladiators because they have lost 5 main wickets in under 90 runs, but the partnership of 6th wickets S. Rutherford and A. Hosein is match-winning for Quetta Gladiators.
Quetta Gladiators winning the toss bowling first is a good decision they successfully restricted Karachi Kings to under 170 runs. From Karachi Kings James Vince played a good inning of 37 runs in just 25 balls and at the end Mohammad Nawaz shown some good hitting scored 28 runs from just 19 balls. Akeal Hosein with the bat and bowl is very impressive and helped Quetta Gladiators to win this match

Karachi Kings were in the game till Sherfane Rutherford and Akeal Hosain came to the crease for batting. Together they both scored 80 runs and make it possible for QG to grab 4th victory of this tournament. Sherfane Rutherford was man of the match for his match winnings 58 runs. KK and QG have played 2 games against each other and surprisingly both games were decided on very last ball of the game. On points table, QG are at number 2 after Multan Sultans. 

Just a wait of some minutes then we will see Babar Azam in action, if you know in the last match of Peshawar Zalmi, Babar Azam hit a century against Islamabad United (The team that elected Babar Azam in the first season of PSL.)
