I think from a betting perspective there is a lot of value on Pakistan batting second.

The way Afghanistan started their innings I thought they could easily muster more than 180. And if the middle order plays well, there is a possibility of collecting more than 200. But Afghanistan's batsmen are not able to play well. Similarly, the performance of Afghanistan's bowlers was not good. Sri Lanka lost their first wicket after collecting 62 runs in 6.3 overs. Sri Lanka batted well in the power play and advanced a lot. After that Sri Lanka managed to win quite easily due to the stable performance of other batsmen on the team.

Quite disappointed with the way Afghanistan played yesterday. This was an excellent opportunity for them to get in to the finals of the Asia Cup for the first time. And for some time it looked as if they are on the driver's seat. By the time when Rahmanullah Gurbaz got out, they were 139/2 in 15.3 overs. In the next 4.3 overs, they could manage only 36 runs (ideally they could have scored at least 50 runs, given they had 8 wickets in hand). Mohammad Nabi in particular wasted a lot of balls towards the end. Even 175 was a defendable total. But for some strange reason, their bowlers failed yesterday.

The situation can change at any point in T20. The Rahmanullah Gurbaz innings exemplified that cricket is not an individual game. Who would have thought Sri Lanka would win in Sharjah after Afghanistan scored 175 runs? It's all part of the game! It is the batters of Sri Lanka who deserve credit. In the opening match of the super 4, Bhanuka Rajapaksa's heroics seal the victory for Sri Lanka.

I don't think the Afghanistan target was adequate. At least Afghanistan's batsmen should have collected more than 185. If they had set a target of 185, the win would not have been easy for Sri Lanka. Because every run is very important in T20 format. Apart from Rahamanullah Gurbaz, no other batsman has batted well. Although Ibrahim Zadran scored 40 runs, he scored 40 runs off 38 balls. Had he not wasted so many balls, Afghanistan could have easily collected 200.

I think you do not understand the format of Super 4. All four teams will play each other and the top two will qualify for the final. Afghanistan can win the next two matches and still stand the chance of going to the finals BUT...the next two matches they have to play with Pakistan and India.
Although anything can happen in the T20 matches, I still think Pakistan and India should qualify for the finals as both of them are the most experienced teams.

Today is a big match between India and Pakistan, The winner today is likely to move ahead in the tournament because both these teams have the capability to beat Srilanka and Afghanistan in their next matches. We are going to have another thrilling Sunday evening.

In order to focus on Tests and ODIs, Mushfiqur Rahim has decided to retire from T20I cricket. I think it's dumb that he's retiring from t20 just before the world cup. There is a need for Bangladesh's senior players to step up and win matches for the team, but the form he has shown in T20Is is also disturbing. So, thanks a lot for everything. Organizers of the Asia Cup played it very nicely to set up at least 2 Ind vs Pak fixtures and potentially a 3rd too if both teams manage to reach the finals.

In last few years India vs Pakistan matches mostly tense because both teams are not playing any bilateral series, so peoples have no enough opportunities for watching them other than ICC or ACC events, so they love to watch these matches but this time it is good we have back to back two matches in this Asia Cup with in first match both teams done good job but at the end India was winner, so now things are going more interested after Pakistan big win against minor Hong Kong and Jadeja injury is also big below for Indians as he was surely important role in last win now Axar Patel is coming in place of Jadeja hopefully we will have another entertaining match between these two quality teams after having two big matches first Sir Lanka vs Bangladesh and then Sri Lanka Afghanistan.

Kohli is under pressure to score runs thats why he is not playing his natural game. Against Pakistan he score 35 runs but on 34 balls, that's not Kohli way of batting. Babar Azam has scored 19 runs in last two games and surly he will be looking to score some runs today. Do you think Kohli deserves a place in this India's team? Personally I don't think so, he looks past his prime. He can be considered decent but he is not elite anymore. India has so much white ball batting talent, I think they are behind England only in that aspect. Maybe Suryakumar Yadav should take the number 3 spot and Rishabh Pant can be in the middle order. I know his t20 record isn't great either but he is a lot younger and at this point in this career more valuable than Kohli.

Yeah Pakistan won the toss and did the right thing to bowl first but Indians have started very aggressively and there is no mercy for the Pakistan bowlers. Both Indian openers are dealing in sixes at the moment.

Remember that winning the toss, does not grantee that Pakistan will win the match, they need to take wickets quickly else the match will be out of their hands.
