Irrespective of the outcome from the final match, India should be happy with the results. The series was won by England by a margin of 2-1, but India proved that they are capable of serious challenge. That said, they should introspect and analyze their weaknesses. Even under pace-friendly conditions, Indian seamers were not very effective against the England batters. Renuka Singh Thakur was in excellent form, but she was expensive in this series. On the other hand, it was the spinners such as Radha Yadav who picked up wickets.

The commitment of English girls on the field was too good to be true. Every catch was completed flawlessly whereas Indian girls were lacking the same commitment. As I said earlier the whole team is dependent on one player and that is Smriti Mandana. Ghosh was impressive but she tends to play lose shots. I am happy that women cricket has come a stage where many of us here are following these matches. I hope after WIPL starts this craze should increase significantly.

Having said that, I must say that this was quite a comprehensive win for the England women's team. In both of the matches that they were able to win this season, they were able to outplay the Indian women. However, India also showed a good performance in the second match of the series. The performance of India in that match was impressive.

Three one-day internationals are scheduled against England women in the coming weeks, and I believe that Indian women will be able to perform well in those matches. In spite of that, I do not want to watch any matches that are lopsided in any way. Basically, I just want to see some competition between the teams. The competition was not really evident from the individual matches that the England women played against the Indian women in this recent series of T20 matches.

I wonder sometimes who do players feel when they miss their century or half century just because of one run or two.
however both team performed well - Indian team performance is improving in almost all the matches. England and Aussie are rich teams they have so much benefits as compared to the Indian and Pakistan women cricket team

Maybe the learning could help in tackling such situation carefully in the next matches so to reach 50 or 100. There is good growth with the Indian women's team, but the board need to support it more. Same is the problem with Pakistan Women team. Proper coaching and funding and allowance needs to be provided, considering they're playing for the nation same as men playing for the country.

I guess the state of women's cricket in Pakistan is even more precarious when compared to India. But despite that, recently they have produced some very good players, with fast bowler Diana Baig being the best one IMO. And one thing that I like about PCB is that Ramiz Raja as the chairman has been able to do a lot many positive changes (when compared to Sourav Ganguly of the BCCI). Recently they launched the Pakistan Junior League (PJL), which is the first ever franchise league for U-19 cricketers. Given all this, I hope that they will launch a WPSL soon.

The England women team has a lot of quality players.  For them, England women team seems to be very strong. However, many players played well in this match. They can do both bowling and batting well. There are some teams who, if the bowling is good, the batting is bad.  But England women team they can do both bowling and batting well.

Realistically I am feeling very happy with Indian women team's performance in England because within given facilities and structure in India these women are giving their best and having close call against two top ranked women teams in world like Australia and England with these women's can beat all other women's from the world easily as many are feeling these are not able to give commitment like England we have to check realities as well because these are no prepared like them from childhood but still doing amazing job.

With this all subcontinent conditions are also not favorable for them as we have in England and Australia or SENA countries but still these are doing their best and hopefully in coming years we will have revolutionary changes in gaming industry by women's of India.

That is really good to have such a rule in the T20 format cricket. Through this rule the result of the match too can change. Anyhow slowly things are getting to be more fancy and the true cricketing is losing its importance. More and more changes make cricket more commerical and it is getting to be a big business. The true cricketing changes need to happen with the test format cricket.

Yeah, they borrowed this from the Big Bash. They call it X-Factor, there is no problem in experimenting with new things in T-20 to make the contest more interesting. Although this X-Factor/impact player isn't a very big success in BBL as teams hardly use it regularly. Let's see how it goes in Indian domestic and IPL.

This specific addition is related to team tactics and game plans and not in favor of batters per se. Teams are allowed to have any batter or bowler from the reserves if the match situation demands.

PCB has announced its T20I squad for coming worldcup and surprisingly there is no change in the squad. Team is almost same which participated in Asia cup. Khushdil and iftikhar are again in squad. The only new entry is Shan Masood. I am not very hopeful from this squad.

Cricket always favoured a batter more than a bowler. Now days the emphasis is to find an all rounder talent for the middle order. Most big teams have multiple all rounders in the middle or lower middle order. This occured because T20 demands such player who can both bat and bowl or who can be a wicket keeper as well as a batter. The openers still need to be batters and the rest can be all rounders. The problem is that it is very hard to find such a talent.

I think Australia is a team capable of playing in any format. They have players of all formats in their team, they just use the timing. Their style of cricket is world class. They hope to do well in the upcoming T20 World Cup. All the players in their team are very responsible.

If the squad performance can't be judged from Asia cup then what's the criteria to evaluate them? You mean wait for the WC and repeat same mistakes then do the needful. Performance of khushdil and iftikhar speak itself, while everyone can see the pace with which Rizwan scored runs. Rizwan should focus of game rather then passing smiles to opposite teams.

I guess it's a well known fact that cricket is batman's game that's why the majority of rules of ICC book strict bowlers to cross all the fine lines.

Although IMO in recent time test cricket is still very much favor the bowler, at least last decade so I don't mind if T-20 goes in favor of batters.

Finding and opting for all-rounders is a different matter imo.
