Today we've got a good number of T20 matches to watch. First one is the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The match being played away from home for both the teams make the match more interesting. First match of the tri series played in New Zealand will help these teams perform well in the upcoming T20 matches.

Second match is the India Women vs Pakistan Women. Last match is between Australia and West Indies. Australia in good position and West Indies at a point to give unexpected performance.

This was actually not a very good target from Pakistan. A T20 match is not something you can go to bat first and just collect 116 runs and think that you will be able to win with that. In spite of that, I still expected that Pakistan would be able to win this match, as it is Pakistan versus Thailand.

However, this was not the case at all. After a nail-biting finish, Thailand was able to come away with the victory in this match. In my opinion, this is yet another slap in the face to those people who thought that Pakistan should have a chance at a certain ICC women's cricket tournament just because they are ahead in terms of their rankings.

In women's cricket, the average totals are much lower when compared to what we have with the men's game. And whether the target is enough or not will depend a lot on the opponent and the pitch conditions. For example, during the 2003 world cup, India was bowled out for a total of just 204 by the Netherlands. But still India won the match by a big margin, because the Dutch batsmen didn't had the capability to chase down such a target against the experienced Indian bowlers. The pitch also played it's part by making life difficult for the batsmen (from either sides).

Thailand won the match by 4 wickets (1 ball remaining) .  Pakistan bat first but fail to give a tough target ,Good batting by Sidra Ameen 56 runs from 64 balls 6 fours and 0 sixes. Apparently Pakistan batting line struggled today. Natthakan Chantham (player of the match)made 61 from 51 balls good batting from their side. Thailand pulled off one of the biggest wins in their still-young cricket history. On points table Pakistani women are leading with 4 points and Thailand Women are on 2 points.

Pakistan had the advantage when Natthakan Chantham got out, but in the end Rosenan Kanoh blasted the best Pakistani bowler (Diana Baig) all around the park to win the match for Thailand. And this is a sweet revenge for Thailand. During the world cup qualifiers, Pakistan and Bangladesh edged out Thailand, just because these two countries were included in the FIFA rankings.

I really appreciate it and also surprise to see that people have so much interest for the cricket. Most of the time it is the men cricket which most of us want to watch but these days people do not want to miss any match whether it is men cricket matches between big teams or even women cricket matches. You can tune in to any tv channel at hotstar but nice that you choose to watch cricket at the airport in the free time.

Well.. I don't watch women's cricket that frequently. But I follow the live scores most of the time. This match was getting really interesting, and I decided to watch since I had some free time. And it was worth every second. When an underdog wins, we always celebrate that victory. And I badly wanted Thailand to win, after seeing how they are being mistreated by the ICC. Every win by an associate nation over a full member is a slap for the ICC. Because they don't want associate teams to grow, despite what they say on the outside.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field first.
Pakistan bat first and give a good target of 167 runs 5 wickets (20 overs). Muhammad Rizwan played a good innings  of 78 runs (50 balls ). Rest of the batsman performed below average, Shab Masood 31 runs , Babar Azam 22 runs .

Apart from Mustafiz and Hasan Mahmud, the performance of Bangladesh's bowlers was quite good. Taskin managed to pick up two wickets for just 25 runs.

As usual, the performance of the batsmen of the Bangladesh team was very poor. Apart from Yasir Ali and Liton Das, I don't think any batsman's performance is good. If the performance of the batsmen does not improve and consistency does not come, then Bangladesh will not be able to win a single match in the next World Cup.

Bangladesh loses by 21 runs to Pakistan in Christchurch. While Bangladesh bowlers do well, their batting order is a significant concern, and it will cost them in the upcoming T20 World Cup. It was a very good win for Pakistan thanks to the bowlers who bowled well. It will also prove useful during the World Cup. It was another excellent performance by Muhammad Rizwan as he maintained his excellent performances in the tri-series as well.

I am not sure what Bangladesh Management thinks about Mustafiz. He got the cutter master tag just because he played some excellent cricket on home grounds. He is always expensive in away games. I have doubts about his dedication too. He always tries to improve in IPL, Big bash and other tournaments. In comparison, he cannot perform when he plays for Bangladesh. What's wrong, Mr. Fiz? Hasan Mahmud is a young player. We shouldn't judge him by seeing the one-game performance. Sabbir Rahman failed again. IDK what Mr. Sri ram is thinking. He said he wants impact players. Sabbir has already played four innings, and he continues his poor show.

A lot was expected from Mustafizur Rahman, but he failed to deliver. At no point, the Pakistan batsmen looked troubled. It is just plain and simple. Bangladesh can't remain competitive without Shakib al Hasan.

Now coming to the second match, Australia is cruising towards an easy victory. But there are worrying signs for them. Top order failed once again, although David Warner managed to hit 75. Also, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood seems to have regained their rhythm.

In Pakistan's historic victory against India, Nida Dar has named Player of the Match. I would have to say that Pakistan's bowlers dominated Indian batters and won this match. It was a superb inning from Richa Ghsh for his team, but today Pakistan women played brilliantly as well. Congratulations to Pakistan's ladies.

Mosaddek Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman had an economy of 8.50, 10.50 and 12 runs per over. Anything above 8 runs isn't good. Bangladesh used 6 bowlers and the rest had an economy around 6runs per over. This somehow had an average of 8.5 runs per over when calculated for 20 overs.

I expected 200+ runs from Pakistan and the score 167 from Pakistan looked to be low and that's the reason why I mentioned that the bowlers are good and there is no big performance on the batting side.

As expected, Australia won the match by 31 runs. Positives for Australia were the performances from Warner, Starc and Hazlewood. Tim David also scored some quick runs in the end. But having a stable opening partnership is still difficult for Australia. On the other hand, West Indies hardly had any positives. They are on their way to slow death. Not a single batsmen was able to make a score greater than 30. And apart from Alzarri Joseph all the bowlers failed. I won't be surprised if they lose their matches against Ireland, Scotland and Zimbabwe in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

This T20 series is proving to be fatal for the Westindies side. 178 was a target that can be chased. I mean what can get wrong with the Westindies batter, they were struggling to hit like a bunch of ameature.

India women VS Pakistan women

What a win by the Pakistani girls. The only team that could challenge the Indian side in the Asia cup was Pakistan. 137 was not that a difficult target for the Indian batters but the way Pakistani bowlers attacked the Indian batters was commendable. In my opinion we will certainly see these two teams in the finals of Asia cup.

Today was the day for Pakistani Women, despite of easy target India couldn't chase it. Thanks to Nida Dar for outstanding batting and balling (well deserved player of the match ). This victory credit goes to Pakistani ballers specially Nida Dar and Nashra Sandhu.
