Kolkata Knight Riders have lost more wickets since the start of the game. Kolkata are under a lot of pressure with the loss of three wickets, the team is under a lot of pressure. Gurbaz half-century has played the most role in the current game as he is the only batsman to have entered the field so far. 77 runs in 9 overs, losing 3 wickets, Kolkata Knight Riders are moving ahead, but Gurbaz number of runs is 53. Therefore, Gurbaz's role is the most sustained in the current game in terms of wickets.

The way Kolkata Knight Riders lost wickets in the early stages, it seemed that they would not be able to score much in today's match. Because they are under a lot of pressure by losing wickets but currently Kolkata Knight Riders have collected 204 runs. Shardul Thakur's batting performance was very good due to which the runs increased greatly. Otherwise, the way the wickets were falling, Kolkata Knight Riders seemed unlikely to score 150 runs in today's match. But a few players have improved their performance in batting and have taken the run much further. Kolkata Knight Riders are currently 204 runs for 7 wickets.

Even after a poor performance by most of the batsmen by Kolkata Knight Riders, they still manage to score 204 runs. The main damage was done by Shardul Thakur who scored 68 runs in only 29 balls. Kolkata team would be happy that they managed to score over 200 runs when at one time even 150 runs were looking difficult to achieve.

From Royal Challengers Bangalore, David Willey was the best bowler who took 2 wickets and gave only 16 runs. It will be interesting to see now how RCB will go about this run chase. They would surely be under pressure as the target is above 200 runs.

Royal Challengers winning the toss and deciding to bowl is the wrong decision. As said Thakur gave an unexpected performance and shocked the Royal Challengers team. His contribution from the bottom order helped Kolkata Knight Riders score 200+ runs.

With the previous match performance from Royal Challengers team, it looked like RCB will reach the target. Fortunately things didn't go as planned as Narine gave the first break and wickets started to fall at regular interval. RCB have lost 9 wickets and reached 98 runs in 15 overs. An easy win for Kolkata Knight Riders.

Royal Challengers Bangalore  VS  Kolkata Knight Riders

Royal Challengers Bangalore will play the only match of the day against Kolkata Knight Riders. As Kolkata performed in their first match against Punjab Kings, the team does not seem strong enough. Kolkata managed to collect only 146 runs in 20 overs against the target of 192 runs given by Punjab. Compared to other teams, I think this Kolkata team is relatively weak.

Bengaluru's performance against Mumbai Indians in the first match was excellent. Mumbai set a target of 172 runs. Bengaluru reached the target of victory in 16.2 overs losing only 2 wickets. Bengaluru's batting order is very strong. The Bengaluru team is my favorite against Kolkata today. I will bet on Bangalore to win today. Which team do you like today?

It could be very much Bangalore vs Andre Russell as he has a tremendous record against RCB and basically, he goes into god mode when playing against them.

Skipper Nitish Rana needs to step up and must avoid many mistakes. RCB is the favorite but in case KKR's batting clicks tonight then we are looking at a potential tight match.

Kolkata is performing as they did in their first match. Can't play well. Especially you mentioned Andre Russell, he didn't score any runs. On the first ball, he gave a catch to Kohli and returned to the dressing room. Kolkata collected 94 runs in 12 overs. Kolkata is not batting well. Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 57 runs off 44 balls. Bangalore's bowlers are bowling well but their bowling is not controlled. They gave 16 extra runs in 12 overs. This is too much. Had they been able to do some controlled bowling, they could have stopped the Kolkata team within 160 today.

In 12 overs Kolkata's collection was just 94 and lost 5 wickets. This team collected 204 runs in 20 overs. They scored 110 runs in the last 8 overs. It's amazing. Shardul Thakur and Rinku Singh's performances captivated everyone. Shardul Thakur scored 68 runs off 29 balls and Rinku scored 46 runs off 33 balls. You are right that Bengaluru bowlers are out of control today. They conceded 23 runs in 20 overs.
However, the Kolkata team provided a huge target. But Bengaluru's batting order has some outstanding batsmen like Kohli, du Plessis, Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik. Despite giving away a big target, Kolkata has a chance to lose the match. As I am betting on Bengaluru to win, I will expect Bengaluru to win.

The 200+ runs is a big pressure. If the score was around 180-190 runs surely RCB would've performed better. The small difference in the target score gives added pressure. Apart from Mohammed Siraj and David Willey, they didn't have any experienced bowlers in their squad. And yesterday, Siraj was a complete failure and went for 11 runs per over. Bowlers like Harshal Patel and Karn Sharma are very volatile. Even then, a target of 205 was not that daunting. It is like the average score per innings in today's T20 matches. But then their batting failed completely, with Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis failing to make use of the starts they got. And once Michael Bracewell got out, it was a complete collapse. I felt he got his form back yesterday as a batter and bowler. He did take a single wicket on a pitch that was only favoring spinners. It is too early for him to again get selected for the Indian team. If he is consistent throughout this season then I am sure he would be considered. Whatever happens what I saw yesterday of him was absolutely mind blowing. I never expected him to get his team back into the game that too in a situation wherein their batting lineup had already collapsed.

Lucknow are over-dependent on Mayers which is why they need more players to perform well for higher winning chances.

King is under criticism for time I don't remember now but still he is selected for the natioanl team since he occasionally play some good knocks. Moreover king has also realised that now matter how worse his form will be, he won't be dropped from national side as well IPL has its place because of his celebrity stature.

ODI WC coming as well and he could be a fine asset along with Pandaya as it provides more variety in your bowling attack and strengthens the lower batting order.

I would still prefer Venkatesh Iyer over Shardul Thakur as the seam bowling allrounder. But then, I agree with you when you say that seam bowling allrounders are rare in Indian cricket. Hard dick Pandya is probably the only other player with international experience available to fill this slot. But SENA nations seems to be having plenty of players to fill this role. A few examples are Cameroon Green, Sam Curran, Wiaan Mulder, Daryl Mitchell, Ben Stokes and Jason Holder. Chris Woakes is another one who comes to my mind, but his batting has gone downhill recently.
