The shuffle is working for DC, Salt was unstoppable yesterday. I do not know whether this late booming would help them, they still have 4 more matches left. If they play in the same manner then they might rank up. Happy to see Kohli constantly scoring six 50s this season but the bowling is not working for RCB. Mahipal Lomror played well too after a dull start.

RCB is always lacking in some aspect. When they are able to restrict the opponent for a small total they are not performing well in batting. But when they are able to get a good score on the board they are not able to restrict their opponent. I honestly believe they should have been able to defend the total of 181. At least the match should have been a lot closer than it was.
Again it comes down to having effective match winners in the team. Looking at the bowling of RCB in the last match it genuinely felt like they have a lack of match winners in the team.

Nothing to say about the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. All other teams are able to change them, but this team does not see any changes. IPL started since 2008 and now 2023 is going on but the fact is that this team didn't win any of the session. They have good batsmen in their team but they don't give importance to bowlers since long. That's why they could not win any session of IPL. However, the position they had in the previous seasons, they have been successful to some extent in this season. But according to the points table, their hope is still alive. They still have 4 games left. If they are able to perform expectedly then it is difficult but possible to expect them to win the championship.

I absolutely agree. The main reason why people are actually angry towards them is not that they are performing badly and not being able to win any IPL titles. The thing is they have always had the best players in the team. And they are still unable to get the results.

I am also actually starting to believe that it is Virat Kohli. He is the black cat, the bad luck for RCB. Otherwise, there is no reason for RCB to actually not be able to win any title so far in the IPL. I also do not think that they will be able to actually get anyone near the final in this season of the IPL as well.

Lucknow Super Giants performed well in the beginning but it was only the opening batsmen de Kock and Mayers who performed well. But the subsequent batting did nothing for the team and Lucknow Super Giants lost by seven wickets. And the points are at the bottom of the table but Gujarat Titans won by a huge margin. Even earlier such massive runs were collected at Narendra Modi Stadium but today's match Lucknow lost by a huge margin. Gujarat Titans collected 16 points and it will take a lot of effort from the unique team to beat Gujarat back.

I was expecting a good contest between GT & LSG! First Saha started followed by Gill destroyed my inhibition. I never sensed that GT would bat so well. Whatever I felt about KL Rahul with his batting performance but one thing I am sure. Rahul was a far better Captain than the jugad brother of Hardik Pandya.

You need to look at his bowling stats. Not a single wicket but concided 38 runs. If he continues in the same manner LSG would replace DC in the current point table.

Even at such situation Rajasthan Royals continues to be on the fourth position on the points table. The upcoming week is promoted as the rivalry week, because of the matches were low in number and the winners to move to the playoff. Every team are under pressure to win all their remaining matches to stay comfortable and move to the playoff.

In the match between SRH and RR, we can't say one is better than the other. Even the bowlers can't be indicated as the reason for Rajasthan Royals team losing the match. There were continued fall of wickets, but the score came as required.

The first wicket fell at 88 runs. Second wicket fell at 114 runs. From there match momentum turned towards Gujarat Titans. In each and every match Rashid Khan used to have his contribution.

In yesterday's match after the wicket of Kyle Mayers it was Quinton de Cock who kept the momentum. Rashid Khan took the wicket and broke the momentum. At this point Hooda, Stoinis and Pooran failed. Most matches in which Pooran had performed used to be a win for Lucknow Super Giants. In the last 5 matches LSG won just a match, one match ended with no result. Three matches ended with loss, and still it stands at the third position on the table.

I don't know what has Cricket South Africa (CSA) achieved by keeping Quinton de Kock away from IPL for 75% of the duration. He was asked to stay back in South Africa in order to face Netherlands for the two ODIs (and before that the series against West Indies). And this meant that Quinton would lose most of his $823,000 per year salary from his IPL franchise (Lucknow Super Giants). Given this example, I am not surprised that some of the IPL franchises are trying to enter in to direct contracts with the players, which will make sure that they retire from international cricket.

I guess he's missed the first 3-4 matches, it was the same for every Proteas contracted player like Miller, Nortje, Rabada etc. It wasn't an ideal situation but their argument was to secure a WC spot or something.

Sandeep actually bowled pretty well. In the 20th over he created 2 wicket chances in the first 2 balls. The first ball catch was dolly but the fielder dropped it, 2nd was a half chance which went to six. It's just he bowled a foot-no ball and game over.

Yeah finally they dropped the Brook, after 9 matches but they did it anyway. Good on them and props to Glenn Phillips.

No matter how batting friendly the pitch is, if the target is above 200 runs then it becomes very challenging for the batsman to cross that target.  
LSG's bowlers could have bowled a little more economically but they failed completely in terms of bowling and the responsibility of the match had to be taken entirely on the shoulders of the batsmen.  
In the place where about 12 runs should be collected in every over, if less than 10 runs are collected in any over, then the batsmen have to be under a lot of pressure to reduce the run gap. The batsman was dismissed and returned to the pavilion.  If the bowlers could have performed their duties well, the result of this match could have been different.
